Over in the UK in the 1980's when kayfabe was alive & well, you could politely approach the likes of Giant Haystacks or Fit Finlay (who were hated heels) & get an autograph. They would not tolerate rudeness or crowds, but if you approached them in a similar way to your mate Triple H, you would not get the snapped pen treatment.

Years after Finlay's WWE in-ring career, he was on video laughing and bragging about how he used to break fan's fingers if they knew wrestling was fake. He's much more of a cunt than someone who breaks a pen.

If you could just tell us all why he is such a cunt then this would all be sorted.

There's no mystery there. Lord-Mountevans is mentally deficient and was on the wrestling Internet in the early 2000s, of course he developed an obsessive hatred of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Stephanie McMahon and so on. The real answer to your question is just "Because Dave Meltzer said he is."

They often have the habit of having Triple H make someone look like shit for ages and then he puts them over at the end. But by burying them during the buildup the damage is already done. Especially as he usually moves straight on to something else prominent while the person who beat him is left to flounder.

No wonder Cena never made it in WWE.

More Sandman insanity too, by adding extra colour to his match to take heat off the Mass Transit incident. There is a Jerome Young out there somewhere. I saw a documentary when he was trying to get into acting & apparently his was very professional & a pleasure to be around.

Thats the bit in Beyond the mat isnt it?

He was also much more of a cunt in the ring than Triple H ever was.  Check out his match against The Black Prince below.  At best he is being unprofessional, at worst he's being careless, a bully and taking advantage of someone who doesn't know if he can fight back.  Someone point out when Triple H ever behaved like this in a match please..

It's 2020 and people are still on this Triple H burial thing. You guys need the wrestling back and fast.

It's not going away. In 20 years when he runs the industry, he'll still be the biggest target.

Fuck this triple H shit, am I the only one amazed that Cornette lives in a nice, clean home?  Thought it would look like one of those greasy shitholes you get on those hoarder shows.

The New Jack episode was amazing. This weird mixture of uncomfortable, outrageous and hilarious. Sandman finding everything funny ("yeah, he bought a stun gun! Showed me it right before the match!"), Heyman working the jury (with just one shot of well-dressed, glasses-wearing Jack), and New Jack preceding every story with "I was high as fuck, I'd done a lot of coke"... that was so worth watching. The weirdest thing is that he's entertaining as hell, and if he hadn't been so crazy/high, he could have made a fortune.

Also watched the Benoit ones, which I thought were well done. Poor David Benoit, but it's interesting seeing the context for some of Jericho's positive comments about Benoit and the semi-tribute ring gear. He was very balanced in the documentary, and it's clear all that stuff was around the time he was filming it, and he was trying to help David, who was evidently struggling with it all, desperate for everyone to just agree that the murders didn't change anything. Sad, but fascinating.
