Also seen some speculation that it's tying in with Malakai Black (with the backstory being that they were both in there and Murphy caused Black's eye injury). It was almost kind of good, but wasn't. It's summed up by the dialogue - there's way too much and way too much being explained. It felt like it started as a comic book and was literally adapted, rather than taking advantage of what film can do.
BrodyGraham Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 It very much feels like it's tying into Black's stuff. There's teases of shared back story and the common use of Josiah Williams. I'm a big fan of Murphy but I'm not a fan of this. (Insert tenuous joke about Murphy's Lore here)
