  1. A month or so before I'd have been having them on for a 4 or 5 nil win, but the last few games they've really dropped off the pace and Welling have a lot more to fight for at the moment. Watch them go and put 6 past them now.
  2. While drunkenly viewing AEW recently when Private Party's theme came up and starts with "Oh my god is that Private Party?" I did shout at my TV "oh my god who cares?" And I still feel I speak for much of their audience
  3. Will do the rest tomorrow but in the interest of fairness for D2D National League South Weston-super-Mare w/Bent Wookie 1-2 Welling United
  4. 90s WCW Psicosis. I think it was that he was a bit bigger than Rey and Juvi, the mask was pretty cool and I liked all the over the top nature of the Cruiserweight division. A guy down the road had a ton of WCW rather than WWF tapes and stuff and I ended up loving him. Imagine my fear years later when he turned up in WWE looking like that one lady in the local pub you all think is on meth. A large period of being 16 to 20 Chris Hero was also my favourite wrestler on the planet and there was something cool about him and the whole King's of Wrestling vibe with Claudio. I think I just liked how even when trying to be a good guy he just looked like an arrogant gobshite.
  5. Week 22 fixtures Premier League Brentford 1-2 Liverpool Leicester City 0-2 Fulham West Ham United 1-2 Crystal Palace Arsenal 1-1 Aston Villa (17:30) Everton 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur (Sunday 14:00) Ipswich Town 1-5 Manchester City (Sunday 16:30) Scottish Cup Round 4 Broxburn Athletic 0-2 Ayr United Elgin City 1-0 Aberdeen Queen of the South 0-3 St Mirren St Johnstone 0-2 Motherwell Celtic 3-0 Kilmarnock (17:30) Dundee 1-2 Dundee United (Monday 20:00) Serie A Juventus 2-2 AC Milan (17:00) Atalanta 0-1 Napoli (19:45) Verona 0-2 Lazio (Sunday 17:00)
  6. Do we think Rey will ever lose the mask in WWE? I always thought Dom would be the obvious choice to take it off him as he retires but they've done two matches in a row at WrestleMania. Penta taking his mask in his last official match if he's ever thinking of calling it a day would give the type of heel heat it'd be hard to mess up (hard not impossible) but it all comes down to if there's any appeal in Rey appearing at Legends RAWs or on panels without the mask.
  7. 8. Mark Briscoe vs Garcia has all the potential to be brilliant. Looks a good week. Hope momentum holds.
  9. Turning 32 at midnight so offered to work this afternoon and tomorrow so that I don't A) start drinking at 9am Or B) keep drinking until 6am Plan for this evening is structured. Meeting some friends, going to a pub that's paid entry and will be a small, chilled group rather than mental clubs. Some beers, party games, food then home sleep and work in the morning. Booked Thursday off to see Celtic vs Rangers on the telly with some friends and play some pool so that'll be grand. Happy new year all
  10. Genuine Q. Have you set your Google alerts for "passed away"?
