Fantastic episode that completely lived up to expectations. One of the best TV shows of the COVID era. Great matches, great promos and a PPV lineup that looks to be all my dreams come true.

Eddie fucking Kingston. The success story of the year. Easily. I’d never even heard of him until he turned up on Dynamite to face Cody. He’s gone on to be the best promo in the business, my favourite character in all of pro-wrestling and now he’s main eventing a PPV for a World Title. Fair play. I can’t take my eyes or ears off the man whenever he’s out there. It’s unbelievable. That stuff they did with him and Mox was absolutely top drawer.

It’s just a shame I’m probably going to hate the torture porn match they do at the PPV 😩

I love Penta and Fenix. Everyone banging on about wanting a New Japan crossover needs to look at guys like this and realise there’s tonnes of guys in AEW still not being used to their full potential. I’d much rather see them get the spotlight than guys from another promotion. So fun to watch.

I don’t watch BTE. John Silver makes me want to start watching. If he’s half as good on that show as he’s becoming on Dynamite then I’m all in.

And then Kenny Omega finally decided to be a star. Thank God. Took him a year to realise, but whatever. We’re finally here. That funny, stupid entrance and thirty second match made him a bigger star than every single bump and every single overlong match he’s had over the past twelve months.

When AEW are cooking it’s an absolute blast to watch.

Chris Jericho is a professional singer. You’d never think it watching that, would you?

I still don’t understand the Young Bucks thing, either. I’m excited to finally get the match, but why have they been heels for weeks if this was the destination? And why was Tully in a mask if it was only going to be Tully? For a show so cohesive and well written at the moment the stuff with the Bucks stands out badly as a muddled mess.

Eddie Kingston though. I can’t believe this guy hasn’t been on national TV this whole time.

Kenny Omega v Sonny Kiss was brilliant, perfect even. The entrance, the match, the aftermath. I thought that would be my highlight but then Jericho/MJF... bloody hell. Laughed my face off. I just couldn't believe they went there, good on them for trying at least!

I also had never seen Eddie Kingston until Dynamite and he's great, loved Moxley's promo too.

I only watch BTE for Silver's bits and was chuffed to see him running wild in the main event!

Another little celebrity tie in with Darby with Steve-o. The little videos he does are a good little way to keep him on TV without over exposing. Shame that Cody H will win again on the ppv

I’ve watched the Kenny Omega thing back about three more times. It’s absolutely perfect. Also, the way they push no-one kicking out of the One Winged Angel really makes me want Hangman to kick out of it, completely pushing Omega over the edge.

There's no way Omega will do a squash, the guy just can't help himself. Omega/Janela will be a back and forth 20 minute "epic" probably. Fingers crossed it isn't.

This did not age well.

Great episode. And just to echo what others have said, John Silver on dynamite is amazing. And I’d actually start at the BTE’s from July/August time as they have been gold. All the Dark Order stuff on there is great

The only thing I can say is John Silver is my favourite thing in wrestling not named Roman Reigns, the guy has charisma out of his arse.

Can anyone explain why it is called The Elite Deletion? Hardy was 'in' The Elite for a cup of coffee, sure The Inner Deletion makes more sense?

Omega coming out with the very awkward dancing girls and his face when the ref hot the 3 was brilliant. It's a shame that it was at the expense of Sonny Kiss who I think deserves better, it's a shame it wasn't Janela. JR calling Sonny 'her' again, god sake JR.

Usually using WWE in a storyline makes me cringe to high heaven, but it really works with Eddie Kingston as he's never worked for a main stream promotion outside of I believe a few months with TNA after their peak. I really hope he takes the belt.

Sonny has said that he happily alternates male and female pronouns, so it may be a rare example of JR being progressive rather than grumpily phoning it in.

I'd love to see it that way but I think it might just be JR being JR.

But hey, if Sonny doesn't care, I don't think anyone else has a need to be upset over it.
