simonworden Posted April 12 Posted April 12 My new flat has a socket issue that's annoyed me. We've got a trifector of doors in a little alcove - our room, my son's and the bathroom. As he's quite new to sleeping in his own room we like to keep the doors ajar and a bit of light at night but there's no plug in that area for a nightlight meaning the only options are turning the bright bathroom light on or a battery powered light that might die during the night. Doesn’t sound like a fun time to be fair. Moving away from a stressful situation sounds like a wise move. Best of luck in your recovery and i hope all works out well for you. Tim Healys Chutney Spoon Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Don't know all the details Ralphy, but trust me a fresh start does usually do most people good. Appreciate you dont know me from Adam, but I've worked in care for a long time with many different forms and in my personal life so have a fair bit of experience I'm happy to share and help you with. Feel free to inbox any time you want to vent or ask for help. Same for anyone who may feel they need it. Quote
deathrey Posted April 16 Posted April 16 My Fitbit had problems with it's battery (it kept running down really fast), I had a look on the app and saw it needed an update. Started the update and it's been downhill since then. It now won't switch in, if I put on the charger, it boots up and then goes to a red x and turns off. I did a factory reset and got past that and now it just won't switch on unless it's on the charger and won't pair to my phone. I've been getting support from the tech department at Fitbit and have tried a few different fixes, all failed. We are now 3 hours in to my call with tech support. I'm losing the will to live Quote

I had a friend in high school who had an eating disorder and was moved into care and it was the best thing for her. Might have even saved her life. I wish you the best with everything you're going through. While it might not seem like it at the moment, things will get better! Quote

King Coconut Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Forget splashback, my balls hang very low these days. Quote
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted April 20 Paid Members Posted April 20 The high waterline can theoretically prevent a brown trout from reaching the velocity necessary to splash. Quote
