YouTube have got rid of that hack to skip the ads. Now it only just you an option to block it, still plays them through though.

Mine was ad related too. Had to use DailyMotion to avoid paying for something (Knowing me, knowing Yule) and the ad interruptions have 3 ads and 9 times out of 10, it plays the same ad 3 times. Took about 3 months to watch 40 mins of Partridge.

Instagram (used for my SEA Account) now has a nifty little little as tricky that I'm sure other platforms will rollout soon. They stop you scrolling down over an ad for 5 mins. Less intrusive than YouTube but still feels like being forced. 

In other tech companies screwing us over and major 1st world problems. I realised that my main Google account that's linked to everything but also UK based has essentially reset every subscription it's tied to, to the UK price. Suddenly Canva was £16 instead of £4, Triller £13 instead of £3 and so on. They've clearly changed the location measurement from my debit card or IP to where the account is located. Had to change everything over to a new account which with some things hasn't been to bad but others it means going through and copying loads of work.

I noticed something similar lately with my Youtube on my phone, if you watch a video it scrolls right back up to the top when you come out of it. Not sure if it's just my app playing up, but it's annoying.

More for the YouTube pile.

I use my phone to queue up videos on the TV.  In the olden days when you tapped a new video you would get the option to "play now" or "add to queue" pop up.  Now to add to queue or play next you have to tickle the 3 dots so you don't override the currently playing video.  If you accidentally tap a video now it will instantly play interrupting what ever you were halfway through watching.

It really scans just as well with the word heads so that must have been a conscious choice.

Cheers dude! Nothing overly exciting, really. We were saving anyway for renovating the kitchen, so it’ll go towards that, as well as ripping out the spare bedrooms and starting again. They are currently filled to the brim with shite, and we haven’t touched them since be bought this place in 2018. I haven’t been in the box room for about two years.
