Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted April 8, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted April 8, 2016 An NXT fall out show could have worked, catching up with each wrestler after their win/loss. Ā Saying that, I'm guessing it simply saves them money and time to throw a recap together. They did catch up with each wrestler after their win or loss. Every recap had an interview or two after it - you got immediate post match thoughts from American Alpha, Austin Aries, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bayley, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe. Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted April 8, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted April 8, 2016 (edited) Ahh fair play, yet to watch it so cheers for the heads up. Ā Edit: bloody hell, how real and emotional was Jordan? Edited April 9, 2016 by Kaz Hayashi
UK Kat Von D
That's a shame, as they've probably managed to lose a bit of momentum coming off that show before Mania. Doesn't really matter since their primary goal isn't to make money. It's a different business model from other promotions. Their format is designed to peak at Takeover events, so they have the option of cooling off after big shows before heating back up for the next. Love-Wilcox
Jason Jordan looked like he was having an emotional breakdown after his match. I'm chuffed for him though, it's great to see wrestlers who really are passionate about what they do.

Why do you think they've started touring the promotion and suchlike? If the only aim was to progress talent they wouldn't be pushing it as much. King Pitcos
He didn't say progressing talent was their only aim, he just said the primary goal isn't to make money. Which is totally accurate.
TildeGuy~!
There's a video surfaced online of one of Shane's sons sitting front row at Takeover and joined in with the bullshit chants during the main event. Philjax
If you're having withdrawals from a lack of developmental wrestling this week you can watch Emma Vs Paige in the main event of er, Main Event. Ā It's sloppy as fuck for the most part and Paige can even be audibly heard apologising for being so awful in the first few minutes. Ā Fuck it's terrible. Baron Corbins' on there too. Paid Members FLips Posted April 10, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted April 10, 2016 Paige has always been shit though, but she suffers from Natalyaitus where she thinks she's some torch bearer of the women's division,
DavidB6937
It was timing for her really. She was the original success story for the women from NXT but that was always more down to her gimmick than anything. She's certainly been shown up since. Paid Members FLips Posted April 10, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted April 10, 2016 She doesn't even have a gimmick. She's just pale. She's as much one of those other shallow divas as anybody else. Except instead of being all tanned and fake-boobed, she's pale and targeted towards neckbeards.
CavemanLynn
When she turned up as the Anti-Diva, looking like she does and screaming like a harpy, I thought she could be on to a winner as a new Daffney "hot psycho" character. But very very quickly, she started lapping up dem wans' approval, grinning and nodding smugly on her entrance, and any hint of individuality dissipated. That signature scream became just something she did. She's just another face on a Diva calendar now, a gimmick in terms of look only.
WyattSheepMask
Dem wans needed a new alterna-girl to latch onto because AJ Lee was fucking off a bit. You only need to look at her twitter to see the kind of stalkers in waiting that she attracts

Ā When did the screaming like a harpy thing you liked become just something she did? I can't see how you listed it as one of her positives when debuting, but used that same scream as a critisism later on when it is exactly the same part of her entrance to this day. Ā Also, how is any babyface lapping up (fans) approval a bad thing?
Briefcase
Whilst on the subject of Paige, she was massively popular at Axxess last weekend, had three signing sessions and arguably you would have done very well or be very lucky to have met her.Ā Ā So love her or hate her, she is mega popular with the fans. I did meet her and thought she handled herself really well with everyone.Ā
