Guest Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Aye, Mania's Mania at the end of the day. I'm still extremely excited. The 'follow that' thing was definitely a problem when we had Brooklyn followed by Summerslam though

Different ball parks, Mania is as much about the spectacle as anything else. Totally. They'll both be great shows for totally different reasons. Even the weaker Wrestlemanias are still loads of fun. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's Raw as much as anything (other than Shane vs Vince). Fans might not like everything across the board, but there's no denying there's something for everyone this weekend. I've not watched much wrestling in months so I'm enjoying Wrestlemania weekend even more than usual.

You may know that I generally have no time for women's wrestling, but Asuka may be the lady to change that for me. I'd seen Nakamura once before, at WK9, so I sort of knew what to expect. He didn't disappoint. That match was great. Really like American Alpha, they do have something of The Steiners about them. Main event was great as well. Blood stoppages were a bit annoying but the way Joe came back from them made up for it. Glad he's gotten over his TNAitus.

But yeah, Asuka's ace. As for the blood stoppages in the main event, it doesn't bother me too much - it almost adds to the drama. I know it knocks them out their stride a bit but I thought it added a layer to Joe vs Balor. Speaking of stoppages, I thought Nakamura vs Zayn was ending in a TKO when Nakamura started raining those elbows down on the back of Sami's head.

After Takeover, I think he's my new favourite wrestler with my favourite entrance. I don't think anyone has ever had that type of impact on me before!

The King Of Swing Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Nakamura's music is a grower. Didn't like it when it started up but loved it when it really kicks in. I agree though. Not as good as his New Japan music. Asuka looking down on a defeated Bayley is such an amazing visual. Not sure if it was heelish or just Asuka being Asuka.

Basically cut from the Kurt Angle cloth. If so, their look is perfect.

I was going to ask if anybody else noticed that, amazing stuff. Also, Gable is the true stand out of the two for me, but did love Jordan's hype up moment on the NXT event. Also, Nakamura is my favourite wrestler now.
