The Cody/MJF angle could've done with having a hotter crowd and more time to breath at the end, but those are two minor quibbles for one the most mesmerising angles in recent memory. I actually cannot wait to see Cody get his hands on MJF. Take my money, lads. You've earned it.

Cody really knows how to sell a match doesn't he? He might be just OK in the ring, but I can't think of another wrestler who gets me excited about their matches with the build up. Inherited the Old Man's mind for sure. MJF is great as well.

If its a case of possessing one skill over the other, then Cody's priorities are right. Telling a compelling story has always been more important, especially in terms of revenue, over athletic ability and the in-ring stuff.

Man alive. What a closing angle. When they announced the lashes I didn’t really see the appeal. I know they’ve done it in the past but it was way before my time and it just sounded like weird torture porn.

How wrong was I though. Genuine drama. Engrossing as fuck. Cody’s the best booker in the business and he and MJF are the best babyface and heel in forever.  I cannot wait to see Cody smash that little prick at the Pay Per View. Absolutely brilliant. Better than Orton and Edge. When it’s good it’s fucking great.

Poor Yuka "Sakazowie", I'm almost sure J.R fucked up her name on purpose this time.

JR didn't even try to hide his lack of interest in that match, he was fucking dreadful. Makes we wish Vince was still screaming in his ear and humiliating him once a year.

Anyway JR's shitarsery aside, good show.

Closing angle was great, maybe a bit drawn out, but high drama sometimes needs to be eeked out a bit.

Anyone know what Santana was referring to in his promo about how everyone knows it was the worst year of his life? (or something to that effect). I was slightly confused.
