Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted December 2, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 2, 2018 I wish more places had good small size savoury snack options like that. That's great.
bigfoote
From BBC: A Scottish chip shop is offering customers an entire deep-fried Christmas dinner. Dunkeld Fish Bar in Perthshire claims its turkey goujons, battered Brussels sprouts and carrots and parsnip fritters are already proving popular. They are served with a giant pig-in-a-blanket - a battered foot-long sausage - and a deep-fried mince pie on the side. The speciality supper costs about £10. Sale proceeds are going to the Dunkeld community, with a visit from Santa and his reindeer planned for local children.

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted December 10, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted December 10, 2018 I feel like this is about the third time I've posted this after a WyattSheepMask post, but alas....
Paid Members Dead Mike Posted December 14, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted December 14, 2018 Chippy tea? Completed it mate. Large fish & chips (£6, there were pure chips left over too) and we shared a large curry sauce (£1). It was all tremendous. The fish was amongst the best I've had. Got a black pudding fritter (70p) too purely out of curiosity & that was as excellent as it sounds. Feeling festive? I'm tempted to back next week just to try these. Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted December 14, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted December 14, 2018 What an absolute belter. Also, battered festive pigs in blankets? I wonder if they’d batter the foot long Aldi one of you chucked them a quid.

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted December 15, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted December 15, 2018 Those battered pigs in blankets may well be the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.

The idea is sound, but these look like tramp's cocks in batter.
