I've been going grey since I was 18 so i've no real beef with it. I had a weird few weeks where I tried to bottle dye it, and it just looked awful.

My bigger concern is the absolutely machete wound of a line thats formed between my eyebrows on my forehead. The mother of all wrinkles. About 70% of my office are on the botox and reckon I should... but I can't do it. Like, I really care that I look so old (chopped unc), but not that much.

Hair started going grey about 8 years ago and I wish it would just get on with it as it looks good. I've had one of those wank multicoloured beards for ages though. It's somehow got colours in my barnet never had.

I was totally grey by 35 and I think it suits me better than my natural black hair ever did. Also, regardless of the colour its not thinning or receding thus far and in the end that's a victory given how many of my friends are in their early 40s and have a widows peak at best and full balding at worst.

I'm positively geriatric for my profession, bar work, and get frequently reminded that I'm older than a lot of my colleagues' parents. 

The kicker though is always cultural touchstones. The kids that I work with look back at the second wave emo and stoner rock stuff that I listened to at their age through the lens that I view Sabbath and Zeppelin.

Fuck.

My eldest nephew turned 15 today and has shot up in height which really made me feel my age as I still remember vividly him being born and how tiny he was

This isn’t helped by the fact my eldest niece turned 10 last month either. Why do kids have to grow up so quickly?

Just been on a transatlantic voyage from New York on the Queen Mary 2, where most of the activities are clearly geared towards pensioners.

The crossing took an entire week and loved every second.
