Paid Members JLM Posted May 2 Paid Members Posted May 2 Not to celebrate someone losing their job but I’m glad Jeff Cobb being wasted doing nothing on Smackdown is over. Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Isn't Xavier Woods bezzie mates with Kenny Omega? New Day vs Young Bucks, anyone? Quote

They had a New Day vs The Elite game off on the channel not long before AEW became a thing. I would like to see Woods and Kofi vs The Bucks have a few matches. Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted May 2 Posted May 2 I think Kofi in AEW would cause my brain to short circuit. It'd be so strange. I reckon he'd stick out like a sore thumb. He's been 'Mr House Style' for so long, i'd be amazed if he knew how to work any other way. They'd have to do regular over the top rope battle royale's just so he could show he CAN do something different occasionally. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted May 2 Paid Members Posted May 2 As always, you never want to take the piss too much when it comes to people losing their jobs, but what a generationally funny run for Tanga Loa. Came in, screwed up everything, then got binned. If his clueless performances are anything to go by he probably won’t realise he’s been sacked and will keep showing up at the buildings. Biggest winner in all this is Adam Copeland’s neck. Cash Wheeler and Nick Jackson already felt nailed on to take the maddest bumps in the inevitable TLC Match at Wembley, but presuming they now add the Motor City Machine Guns and the New Dawn? Cope’s gonna be in for one of the easiest nights of his career! Do they list their divisions anywhere on WWE.com? Who the fuck is left in their Tag Divisions?! Quote
TV Time Remaining Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Who was it that was keeping a list of the Kofi vs Ziggler matches? Might wanna dig that out again. Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted May 2 Paid Members Posted May 2 Fair play to New Day for leaving, whatever they may end up doing. Their heel run was a bust and this is maybe the least relevent they’ve been since the New Day formed. They’d be a benefit wherever they go but ultimately don’t need to go anywhere. Quote
Snitsky's back acne Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Paige comes back and Xavier Woods leaves. Coincidence? Yes, obviously. Probably for the best for New Day though. A fresh coat of paint and having some matches away from the WWE system might actually be pretty appealing to them at this point. Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted May 2 Paid Members Posted May 2 HHH taking the TKO orders to get rid of dark characters a bit too far. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Kofi should go to TNA. Woods to AEW, The other two no marks, who cares. Quote
Cannibal Man Posted May 2 Posted May 2 absolutely no thank you re New Day anywhere near AEW but a big and enthusiastic yes thanks to Jeff Cobb in AEW for me Quote
Merzbow Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Didn't Cobb turn down an AEW offer to join WWE instead? Now I'm not saying Tony Khan is a vindictive person... I could see him doing a dual role with New Japan though, reunite with United Empire. Quote
Paid Members chokeout Posted May 2 Paid Members Posted May 2 The mutual agreement wording for the New Day is an odd one. Do we think they've said 'if anyone wants to go, they can' and New Day and Cobb have jumped at the chance ( Loa probably just thought he was ordering his lunch) Quote
