He is looking more like Vince than Vince has looked for a long time.

*Pops head in to the Vince thread, goes home rehearsing his argument for another Sopranos rewatch with the vision of Vince dressed as a 19th century general on a horse stuck in his head.

That's an answer that you can just about excuse if it's delivered by a mum, heartbroken about a scandal surrounding their son... not an employee talking about their former boss, however rich that boss made them.

Horrible.

Weird time to be a TK Ultra. On the one hand, absolutely thrilled that the Connecticut Kids have shat the bed and can't stop rolling in it; on the other hand, confused that seemingly the best guys left working for WWE are Cody and Big Phil.

I mean it's one of them, you just avoid the question and don't say anything.

As bad as the allegations are, I don't think its that bad that someone still 'loves' him. He obviously wasn't just a boss to Cena, they've been seen socialising since so clearly they built up a strong friendship etc.

I dunno, I think the statement in public in wrestlemania week is the main problem, not the actual feeling itself.

It's a moral one I guess, if my best mate was accused of these things (and it was clear he'd done them) I'd be disgusted obv and would have a word, but we've been through a lot together so I wouldn't just chuck him on the shelf. Vince has done a lot for Cena etc so I can excuse the sentiment.

But yeah, fucking hell, you just swerve saying something like that in public as it just flames things further etc I guess.

I don't want to jump on you too much here as it's true everyone will have a different tolerance for what they're willing to overlook when it comes to family/friends, and I probably wouldn't have even commented if you hadn't made a point of adding "and it was clear he'd done them", but if you wouldn't chuck your mate on the shelf after finding out he'd done the things Vince is accused of what would be your breaking point?  It doesn't feel like there's much left to play with outside of murder or paedophilia.

As for Cena, with Trump in power it really does feel like all gloves are off when it comes to sex pestery in the US.  If Dana White is comfortable having the Tate brothers over recently and with Russel Brand now cosying up to the MAGA/Christian grifters, it's no surprise wrestling will be taking full advantage as well.

"Terry's raped, trafficked and abused a woman. I better have a word."

Jesus fucking Christ.

Come on man? Your best mate, the bloke you've been through so much with etc...all the things you've shared...yeah it's abhorrent but is it that simple to  strike them off?

It's probably veering off topic, but it's  not black and white.
