There's no point pretending we do, because Triple H had an adjoining office to John Laurinaitis, who in turn had an adjoining office to the victim and there's a chance that when Triple H wasn't on the road he could have been in the office at the same time a crime happened in the office in one of the adjoining rooms. I don’t find it hard to believe at all that Triple H may not have known. Yes he’s Vince McMahon’s son-in-law, but he’s also Linda McMahon’s son-in-law and Stephanie McMahon’s husband - neither of which seem to be on particularly good terms with Vince McMahon. But ultimately, there are literally no allegations made against him, nor are there suggestions in the lawsuit that he knew. Same goes for Bruce Prichard. I don’t see the value in speculating otherwise, even ignoring the fact it’s defamatory to do so. Quote

You know the answer to that one, and it’s completely irrelevant to the point above. There’s a legitimate discussion to be had about whether Fitting should be, but his being there has no impact one way or the other on whether or not Triple H, Prichard or anyone else who is not named in the lawsuit knew about Vince McMahon. Completely agree and the constant "LOL has he read the reports yet" comments over every other thread is approaching 'Sniff' levels of tedium IMO. Bore off. Quote

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 1, 2025 Paid Members Posted February 1, 2025 No one who has ever worked in an office environment can possibly make a case that they didn't all know. It's the most naive, disingenuous "let me just enjoy my wrestling" bullshit imaginable. This environment was horrific. Stop giving the benefit of any doubt to the scum who enabled it. It's truly sickening. Quote

It's truly sickening. Worked in plenty of offices, in semi senior positions, and it's not unfair at all to say not everyone knows what goes on with everything. Triple H hasn't been mentioned. At all. In any of these allegations. Not even been alluded too. Its crazy, libellous in fact, to suggest, beyond all reasonable doubt from the sounds of your post, that he knew everything and should be held to account. As with anything, people's personal bias is clouding their judgment here, on both sides, not just coming down on your side Rick. Bacon is right, we don't know. We can never know for sure. It's not benefit of the doubt, it's the facts we have. Quote

wordsfromlee Posted February 1, 2025 Posted February 1, 2025 Yeah, Triple H may have known, but then again everyone at WWE knew what Vince was up to. He was going round showing cameramen and techs videos and messages for fucks sake. If people like that knew then theres no reason why everyone else didn't know. Every single wrestler and person who works at WWE should be under the same kind of scrutiny because they're all in the same position. Quote

But if someone isn't legally named, then EVERYTHING is speculation, right? It's very, very important to distinguish the facts from the speculation in my opinion. Quote

Every single wrestler and person who works at WWE should be under the same kind of scrutiny because they're all in the same position. I don't necessarily believe this to be true, but it's not proven that Vince actually showed the photos to production crew, construction workers, or anything like that - we've not seen any direct confirmation from those people, just texts from Vince saying that he had showed them the photos, and claiming that they had all responded to them in what could be read as suspiciously similar ways. It's not outside the realms of possibility that a lot of the claims that Vince was showing the photos to all and sundry were actually "just" Vince indulging in a particular fantasy at Janel Grant's expense, and the actual act of showing the photos never really happened - Vince just wanted Janel Grant to believe it had, because he got off on making her feel exposed and victimised. That's all much of muchness - that behaviour is abusive even if he didn't actually share the photos, and there’s enough that he almost definitely did that it would make no difference to anything besides the likelihood of more people knowing what was going on than have been specifically named. But Triple H is still the guy in charge of the company named in the lawsuit. He is still a member of Vince's family, and for years we were told he was an intimate member of his inner circle, until it wasn't politically expedient for him to be any more, after which he suddenly never knew anything Vince was doing, even when it allegedly also involved the Head of Talent Relations, at least one member of the roster, and at least one other senior management figure. He's also still, as far as I know, never meaningfully commented on any of the allegations. He might not have been directly accused of any wrongdoing, but it's hard to see him as anything other than either wilfully negligent in his duties or almost supernaturally oblivious to events occurring around him.
