He set-up a private investment firm that goes by 14th&1. Some of his old WWE Board cronies took up roles. Doubt they'll end up doing much of note beyond being a vanity project and a way of avoiding tax. Quote

Sadly, I suspect that is inevitable. Quote

Sadly, I suspect that is inevitable. I get why you'd think that, but it doesn't strike me as inevitable - bear in mind, TKO are not Vince's underlings, they're a massive company that just paid him $7bn+ dollars to own WWE. They wouldn't have paid him all that just to bring him back and put up with all his bullshit, which he would most definitely bring. They already make money hand over fist without really having to do anything because of the brand recognition, and VKM coming back would just disrupt that with his dated, weirdo, old-psycho booking quirks and ego-driven power-plays. I don't think Ari Emanuel of all people would tolerate that. Quote

DavidB6937 Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Yeah I definitely think bringing Vince back would be a headache for them while at the moment they can basically do whatever they want. I doubt Vince would be too happy about some of the stuff they're doing. It'd definitely be a 'too many cooks' type deal unless they felt things weren't working and they somehow needed him for something. Quote
Paid Members BomberPat Posted July 21 Paid Members Posted July 21 I think Nick Khan and Triple H clearly wanted shot of Vince before the Janel Grant suit anyway. If they were to bring him back, it would be a guest appearance for the Hall of Fame or Wrestlemania, and then the question is whether Vince's ego would be happy to appear for the company without owning it - and I don't see that happening at all.
