The Gaffer Posted August 25, 2025 Posted August 25, 2025 Sheamus makes sense when you consider that being a floundering, WWE-ascribed-but-never-crowd-bought 'top guy' on their secondary belt circuit for years and years probably takes being pally with Vince. Quote
Chico Torres Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 Other guests at the birthday party were Drew McIntyre, The Miz and Maryse, Jerry Lawler and Titus O’Neill. Quote
digforvictory Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 Never been more convinced that Vince will be back fairly soon. Feels like they're slowly but surely laying the groundwork for it. And he'll probably get a monster reaction if he comes out on TV, which is fucking depressing to think about but almost certainly what will happen. And when I say back I mean offically back. The creative nosedive in 2025 suggests he may be involved again already, most of his stooges are still there so he's probably controlling them that way. Quote

Not sure who posted it first but they were asked to take it down from Instagram. So make sure you don't share this anywhere. Quote
wordsfromlee Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 After the reception Hogan got when he made his last appearance, do you think Vince won’t get the same welcome from a live audience if he made a return. Quote

Paid Members BomberPat Posted August 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted August 27, 2025 I don't think Vince comes back in any significant capacity, because it's clear that Triple H had wanted shot of him for years, regardless of the lawsuit. I wouldn't rule out him appearing on-screen for Cena's retirement, but I don't think he'll be given a position of power again. Quote
The Gaffer Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 Yeah, I imagine most gratuitous scenario is they Flair him and give him the Hall of Fame sendoff whilst the guy himself is thinking the whole time "I wanna go to work." Knowing the general chaos novelty to wrestling's ether, he'll probably get a banger a couple of weeks afterwards which will be used to soft landing his legacy back to historic/archival visibility. He'll never be back booking WWE, I think even he's willing to move on from that. But i'm sure he'll be trying to get back to where he's one of the faces of TKO again. On the board or with some title. UFC at the White House next year he won't want to be seen as Linda's +1. Quote

NO CHANCE IN HELL!" too of course, with Vince smirking because he knows that song is about anyone who tries to bring him down. Quote
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted August 27, 2025 Awards Moderator Posted August 27, 2025 He's looking at his basically 80 year old mate and thinking 'well if he can run the country at his age, I can run a tinpot rasslin' company and take it out of smoke filled halls.' Quote

In fairness, was the extent of what was known at this stage not just that he had paid for some women to sign NDAs to keep quiet his sexual exploits as opposed to rape and sex trafficking? Quote
