Yes, using company funds to pay for NDA’s of women he had affairs with. Nothing wrong with that clearly Quote

Nothing wrong with that clearly I mean it’s not right but it’s never going to be regarded as something to turn against someone for in any live event platform. Fans of anything tend not to give a fuck about who sleeps with who or how they hide it. A millionaire being a bit dodgy business wise isn’t some unknown concept. Rape and sex trafficking are VERY different asks to get fans on board. Quote
Ironic Indie Lad Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 It's a big lads club and Vince was showing them all the horrendous texts and images. Just banter from a total ledge to these guys. Quote

I wouldn't rule out him appearing on-screen for Cena's retirement, but I don't think he'll be given a position of power again. Yeah, that’s kind of my thinking. I don’t see why TKO would view it as advantageous to bring him back, given the impact it could have on the commercial side of things and its potential impact from a PR perspective. If they were to bring him back, how many more media exposes are waiting to happen? How many more people would be willing to come forward to tell their stories? Stranger things have of course happened, but I just can’t see it. It’s Russian roulette. Quote
Ironic Indie Lad Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 I think you are giving TKO / the general public a bit much credit there. Dana White slapped his wife about in public and on camera and its not even remotely an issue. All of Vinces old cronies and yes men are still kicking about as well so he could already have influence for all we know. Quote

But the Summerslam crowd booed Trump but lost there minds with excitement when Brock “named 22 times in an on going sex trafficking legal case” Lesner returned. I think a lot fewer people know about the Brock stuff though. I reckon there are loads of wrestling fans who don't follow the backstage goings on that don't have a clue that theres a legal case thats going on. The Hogan stuff was very much in the public consciousness. There are plenty of non-wrestling fans I know who knew about it. Quote

Feels like they're slowly but surely laying the groundwork for it. And he'll probably get a monster reaction if he comes out on TV, which is fucking depressing to think about but almost certainly what will happen. And when I say back I mean offically back. The creative nosedive in 2025 suggests he may be involved again already, most of his stooges are still there so he's probably controlling them that way. I think you're giving Triple H too much credit. It's more likely he's just a shit booker who has run out of ideas. Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted August 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted August 27, 2025 The downturn in quality also seemed to coincide with Road Dogg coming back on the writing staff, but perhaps that's just confirmation bias on my part. Quote

Nothing wrong with that clearly He's not really guilty of that one: he paid for the NDAs using his own personal money. The problem was that this was to the benefit of WWE but wasn't approved or disclosed, and resulted in WWE's filings to the Securities and Exchange Commission being inaccurate, so he got fined. (WWE issued an annoucement indicating that financial statements required adjusting.) Let's not forget, either, that though the story is that Janel Grant was the employee getting $3m, he didn't actually pay her that. In a move which shouldn't really come as a great surprise, he paid her $1m and then stiffed her once he'd decided that the sum he'd agreed to was too high. That's what led to her taking him to court: the NDA isn't in effect if the party requesting it doesn't actually pay for it. Quote

I don’t think it would be a move based on any sort of morals - I think they’d simply look at the risk/reward of it all and steer clear. I also think they’d be worried about how sponsors would respond. Plus, given their apparent tendency to stiff people when it comes to contracts, I don’t think they’d be willing to pay him as much as he’d be expecting to earn. Why bring in a Vince McMahon when someone like Brian Gerwitz, Paul Heyman or Ed Koskey would be happy to do the same job for much, much less. Edited August 27, 2025 by RedTwoster Quote

Scratch that, he’d probably pay THEM to be in that position again. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted August 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted August 27, 2025 With the money he's made from the sale, I'm surprised the psychotic old cunt hasn't started up a new promotion or taken over an existing indy, like MLW or something. Anyone normal would swan off into the sunset to enjoy their retirement, but he doesn't strike me as the type. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted August 28, 2025 Paid Members Posted August 28, 2025 Isn't he trying to set up some kind of sports/entertainment promotion company? Quote
