You'd be amazed at how often I think about these times all these years later. Group games of Inklink, Flipside TV marathons (including pre-wrong 'un Justin Lee Collins) on Channel 4, getting k-lined for trolling other chat rooms, the excitement of when Raw actually started airing live on Sky. I think there was a year of my (jobless) life where I never went to bed before daylight thanks to this place. Fantastic times right before I had to get a proper adult life and social media destroyed the internet/world. I love that this place is still a tangible link to that part of my life when it's so long ago now and so many things in the real world have disappeared during that time. Here's to the next 25!

I must have watched this 50 times now and can't for the life of me work out where it loops. Or am I missing the joke and it's been deliberately edited to look that way?

Some serious deja vu seeing them wheel out Dorries, Jenrick and Anderson for car crash attempts at damage control over the past few days. It's hard to miss the parallels with the Tories when it's the exact same crew trying to make excuses. Hopefully that resonates with some of the more borderline supporters who have only really turned to Reform to get away from the Tories. Farage's interview saying his family no longer support him being a politician also feels like him planting a seed for being able to jack it in if things get much worse. I'm sure he'll quite happily walk off into a bunch of highly paid TV and media jobs, working a martyr gimmick due to "the establishment" and loony lefties forcing him out of parliament.

I think "distinctly bad on the mic" is a crazy exaggeration. Things were far rougher around the edges at the time and there were definitely times where his mouth moved faster than his brain and he would mispeak or pause or use an odd turn of phrase, but that rawness was all part of his appeal. He was the antithesis of what would become the scripted Rock/HHH/Jericho etc. style promos over the next few years. Just a straight up trash talker who you believed was making it up as he went.
