RIDDUM_N_STYLE
Absolutely gutted about that, the 60s Batman was a staple of mine during school holidays when Channel 4 would show it in between Sesame Street and Pink Panther Loved him as the Mayor in Family Guy as well and it was magical hearing him voice his most famous role in that DC animated film that came out last year
Paid Members Tommy! Posted June 10, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 10, 2017 His voice over as batman's child hood TV superhero in the cartoon was a nice little bit. Didn't Robin fall out with him when he did porn and refused to sign anything West had already done, so fans had to get him first

He was Batman. Did this ever go anywhere or was it just a one off appearance? I love the thought of Adam West in his tracksuit having a match against Lawler at a Car show in Memphis. Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted June 10, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 10, 2017 Along with Rawhide and Laurel and Hardy, his Batman always takes me back to the days staying over at my Gran and Grandad's place. Seemed like a lovely man too. R.I.P.
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted June 19, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 19, 2017 Stephen Furst has passed away due to complications of Diabetes. He was mostly known for being the chubby lad in "National Lampoons Animal House" and the brilliant 80s tragi-comedy "The Dream Team" with Michael Keaton. He was in "Babylon 5" too. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0299122/

Properly cut me up that one :-( Yeah; being 43 he was always around as part of my childhood. I was recently speaking to a mate about how certain deaths would make me a bit upset. Both Brian Cant and Geoffrey from Rainbow are people I used as examples. Still; he left a fond legacy of enriching young peoples lives; the same way that Justin Fletcher does now and that is a great testament to be remembered for. Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted June 19, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 19, 2017 I thought I couldn't remember anything with Brian Cant, but then I realized that we were shown Bric A Brac constantly as tiny kids in primary school. Paid Members Thunderplex Posted July 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 1, 2017 Barry Norman has died, and why not? Bit of a polarising figure, I used to love watching him on Film XX, but didn't agree with most of his opinions.
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted July 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 1, 2017 The Daily Mail accompanied the story that Barry Norman had died with a picture of Barry Cryer. Wonderful journalism as usual.
