Paid Members Supremo Posted April 7, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 7, 2019 (edited) Enzo?! Jesus Christ. As if it wasn't already blindingly obvious that New Japan needed to fuck off ROH for AEW. Embarrassing. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted April 7, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 7, 2019 ROH is 2011 TNA these days. Even in Madison Square Garden they cant help making it look small time. The Beautiful People? Christ.
DavidB6937
The NJPW stuff delivered as expected. The ROH stuff generally brought the show quality down unfortunately. Looking forward to going to NJPW in London. They can exist outside of Japan without ROH easily these days.
The King Of Swing
Only good thing about the ROH output was Mayu Iwatani getting to wrestle in front of a big crowd. Shame it was probably in the most disappointing match I've seen her in, and the crowd struggled to give a fuck until the end. I definitely felt no need to watch WOH afterwards. I'll just stick to Stardom since I at least can't understand the creepy guys at those shows.
AndyUK
I thought the show was very good, the NJPW output was definitely better than the ROH but it was always going to be to be honest. The Enzo and Cass angle certainly got people taking with them not showing it on camera and everything. The three way ladder match, Naito/Ibushi and Okada/White were all great and the IWGP Juniors triple threat and Ospreay/Cobb were really good additions to the undercard. kidzero
I enjoyed the show I'm an roh fan boy but I don't agree with the signing of the Beautiful People or by the looks of it Enzo and Cass smells of desperation for main stream press just trying to get hits on twitter or tmz... But the good points of the show the great múta amazing i popped when he came out and I wanted Kenny to win the rumble the opener was very good as was the tag title match was have to say tama Tonga is the man and that pco power bomb bump was insane... I loved the Jr title match glad dragon Lee won all in all new japan out shined roh by far but it good show it will be worth a rewatch it a few months time with fresh eyes

Paid Members mim731 Posted April 23, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 23, 2019 Hoping for a big showing from Shingo, he has looked great since his debut and he (and the division as a whole) could definitely benefit from a run at the title. TildeGuy~!
I could see an ELP/Shingo final. Depending on what blocks they are announced in of course. Edited April 23, 2019 by TildeGuy~!
BrodyGraham
That looks a hell of a field this year. Be VERY interested in the block announcements for that.
Paid Members air_raid Posted April 23, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 23, 2019 Depending on his current contract situation I'd give good odds on Bandido getting signed off a good showing.
Paid Members Accident Prone Posted April 23, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 23, 2019 Gresham!!! Get in, lad! Well chuffed for Bandido too. Looks like a great line-up with some much needed lower-card nonsense that I can skip as well so that I don't get too overwhelmed with it all.
