What IS this obsession with Adam Cole? He's absolute pants and has nothing going for him heel or face. Vince was right, make him a manager so I don't have to watch him.

Punk/Hangman was great, More of that

I actually thought that, in a vacuum, this was the best Dynamite in a number of weeks. Unfortunately, the show doesn't exist in a vacuum so the fact that is closed with Cole and Co on the ramp, for example, makes me queasy at the thought of continuing to see Cole and Co all over the show.

Darby is out of his mind and so is Tony for letting him to this stuff. Hey, it was mental. And I like mental. But, like someone else said, how can Darby look at Jeff Hardy and think that actually it might be fun to be barely able to move? Shit, at least Jeff didn't take that bump. I was concerned for his life when he was at the top of that ladder.

MJF continues to be awesome.

Yeah I thought a particularly telling part was when Darby did that Eddie Guerrero style diving roll over the top of the steps, with the speed and style that a young Jeff could do things with. Then you have Jeff Hardy follow up by trying and almost failing a running clothesline because he struggled to lift his foot up onto the first step of the ringstairs. "That's you, only much worse in 15 years Darby", I thought. I'm pretty certain every one of the older heads and their dog that shared a locker room with Jeff back in the day will have said the same to him too.

Wardlow and MJF is where it's at. Jon Moxley looked cool as a cucumber strutting out to greet Jericho's group. Dax Hardwood is fantastic (which makes his loss to Cole even more disappointing, despite how obvious it was). Hangman and Punk is helping put that World Champion shine back on Hangman.

That Toni Storm/Jamie Hayter match wasn't good. Both tournaments aren't working so far.

I'm big time on board with HookHausen though. Not a problem with that at all!

Maybe he has TK convinced he's a star since Cole was in the main event the only times NXT beat Dynamite head-to-head.

Jamie Hayter v Toni Storm was probably the best match of the night, almost entirely due to Hayter.  She's the full package - pretty, built and is a fantastic wrestler.  She's wasted as second or third fiddle to Britt Baker.

Random thought, but imo she'd be the perfect choice as the female member of the Blackpool Combat Club.  She's British, hard-hitting and has that grind-y style that the others do.  In her match with Storm, she made everything look like it hurt and she was putting effort in.  She's head and shoulders above almost every other female star in AEW, they should be putting her on tv every week.

Am I still allowed to say she also has a fantastic arse?  There, I said it.

@RedRooster not sure what Bias you are talking. I have already watched it twice, it has an amazing spoof of DOTR, and a crowd eating up every word. I don't often go back and rewatch a segment the next morning.

Recency bias - basically, when someone overrates something because they've just seen it. We've all done it at some point or another, myself included. It was an excellent segment - but I don't think it'll go down as one of the best AEW segments as you suggested. That's nothing to do with it being bad, it's just that the competition is very, very strong.

Adam Cole and his mates are shite.

Yeah, they're the absolute face of this underwhelming few months of Dynamite for me. Cole's like Disco Inferno. Ideas way above his station and he's wrestling in a nothing match every time I tune in. Red Dragon's music kicking in is like the AEW equivalent of hearing the DOA's theme during a 98 Raw.

The period between Punk and Bryan's debuts last year felt like about four years in the business with the amount of decent narrative and progression they packed in. The show now feels the same as it did in January. You feel like everyone on the roster's convinced Khan that they're the man, and to let them run their own segments. It's all very WCW.

Oddly I've found WWE decent in small doses since that pallet cleanser of a WrestleMania. I won't be giving them money any time soon, but I've kind of lazily got into bed with this weird Nick Khan era of undoing all the indie love in shit and just producing high fructose sports entertainment.

Here's 16-year-old Toni Storm wrestling in Perth, Australia in 2011. Skip to 6:02.

Oh, I'm not debating how long she's been wrestling, but she is a bit shit.

Tony Khan is me when I play Football Manager. I scoop up any big name I can on a free but have to pay them wages out the arse. Then within months I've too many players for the squad and my finances are getting hammered but I'm still getting knocked out in the first round of the cup. All my big name players think they're better than each other and moan when I don't play them even though it's my 2 star homegrown players putting in the effort. Eventually I just get fed up and quit.

Martha Hart's reaction to Adam Cole winning was pretty much in line with mine.

Did you smile and wave at the camera straight after you frowned you lying twat

Sparkly jacket twats were booing Hook, ban them from all future shows.

Sparkly jacket twats were obviously "touched" when they were children.

No because the live cameras never picked me up grimacing at the finish so I didn’t have to react to them in an awkward panic.

Apparently he stayed in the ring flat out until the crowd left, again. Punk is just loving life at the moment and it shows through the screen.
