Not only is it a great film, it's also one of the best courtroom movies ever.

I love a courtroom film. What else is on your list?

12 angry men, few good men, a time to kill... I feel like there must be good stuff in this genre i haven't seen that I need to rectify

The best one I've ever seen is Anatomy of a Murder, I'd recommend that. The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial was a really good one from last year, and Just Mercy from a few years ago.

The Verdict is top tier. Presumed Innocent is more very enjoyable mid tier. Great if you like Raul Julia, and who doesn't?

EDIT: and Mangrove for a more recent one.

These are two of my favourite films ever. I believe there was also a remake of 12 Angry Men that was recommended quite highly on here.

Sidney Lumet did another one called Find Me Guilty that was pretty good. With Vin Diesel! With hair!

Hell yes! I had never heard of this but watched it when I was on a Paul Newman binge and it blew me away.

Juror#2 is currently still in cinemas. Clint Eastwood’s latest. I really enjoyed it.

Anatomy of a Fall for the banging soundtrack alone.

Oh shit, that's the one I meant. Great film.

Although Anatomy of a Murder sounds good, so I'll check that out.

Primal Fear and In The Name of the Father are both very good. And Justice For All isn't as good as some people say, but it does have one of those dynamic 70s Al Pacino performances and is worth giving a go.

Lost in Translation

The concept, two people trapped in unhappy marriages finding each other stuck in a foreign country and forming a relationship is a pleasant one and incredibly acted. But does the film have to be so racist?
At points I thought I was watching Team America again.

Wallace and Gromit in The Wrong Trousers

I know it's only half an hour long, but it might be the greatest film ever made.
