The intention is to apply political pressure upon the Government and WFI to treat the matter seriously and take action against the head of the WFI. Plenty of dirty tactics being used by the authorities to suppress and label the protest as having no merit. I saw it mentioned once on Twitter, but haven't seen anything else to support it - I'm multiple steps removed from Progress, so not pretending to know who is or isn't backstage, but I've heard nothing about Havoc being around wrestling again. It looks like the accused former head of the WFI has been cleared and he's had his buddy promoted to the position that he once held, head of the WFI. This has resulted in at least two of the high profile protesters retiring from competitive wrestling. I think, out of everything that's happened in the last 3 and a half years, this is the only apology I've seen issued by a wrestler accused of a wrongdoing that, to some degree, understands the widespread consequences of that person's actions and feels sincere. Of course, it's at least 2 years too late and he should NEVER be allowed back in wrestling, but wrestling sex pests and nonces take note!
