Grim. Wouldn’t be surprised if Vince is back in the company before the end of the year.

It's only grim if its not what Janel Grant wants. If this reaches a resolution that puts her at peace, I think that's the best possible outcome.

I totally agree. I do know where you’re coming from, @Callum1993 - you want to see something that feels like a consequence to McMahon’s actions, but the thing is, because of the nature of this lawsuit the consequence could only ever be financial.

If this ended up in a court room, Janel Grant would have to undergo the trauma of recounting all of this again and being cross-examined. It’s horrible, and time and time again you end up with situations where survivors are made to feel like they’re the ones on trial.

I don't think that's likely to happen, to be honest - TKO paid him $7.3bn dollars for WWE, so he can't force his way back in like last time.

I could maybe see him appearing in a Stephanie McMahon-style capacity in which he stands in ring to welcome fans to a Wrestlemania, or something like that. A Hall of Fame induction, should he want it, also seems possible.

If they’re going to put him in the Hall of Fame, I reckon they’ll do it next year while it’s in Saudi to minimise the backlash. But see the thunderous pop for Lesnars return and the reaction his “retirement” got, I wouldn’t be surprised if Vince didn’t get much backlash - if any at all - if they were to do it in the US.

I would not be surprised if Vince is kept out of the limelight altogether - he always said he didn't want a Hall of Fame induction while he was alive - because I suspect Triple H and Nick Khan were both overjoyed to be shot of him in the first place, lawsuit or no lawsuit. I wouldn't rule out him getting trotted out for Wrestlemania or something, but I wouldn't put money on it either. I think they'll keep him at arm's length, and then the real sickening hagiography will start when he dies and the man himself isn't around any more to muddy the waters.

I'd never heard of Ring of Europe until this weekend but there's been a lot of talk about it on X for all the wrong reason's.

The promoter is alleged by numerous different people to have been showing people a photo that had been photoshopped to make one of the female wrestler's on the show that night appear topless.

When questioned by other people on the show the promoter claimed it was for part of an "angle" and confirmed the person pictured was not yet aware and had not given any consent for this.

The picture was also up in the men's locker room.

The same promoter for the same show had also posted on social media ahead of the show urging people to "cancel" another female wrestler after she had to pull out of the show last minute due to illness.

Further issues highlighted were on the show there was apparently no medical equiptment or practitioners present despite one of the matches having a spot with light tubes on top of the usual associated risks.

Also there's a picture online where every men's match has the names of all the wrestlers involved (including a mens 4 v 4 match) however the sole women's match is just listed as "ladies 4 v 4".

The whole thing resulted in most of the talent pulling out of their bookings for a show with the same company the following night and it subsequently being cancelled.

Seeing the stuff with the "cancelled" talent who pulled out due to a medical emergency I already knew that something was going to be shady with the promotion as a whole. Turns out they're just as scummy as predicted.

Fat crying prick Tommy Dreamer has been getting pelters online recently. Someone slagged off his training, Mickie James defended him, then a few more female indy workers piped up because they felt brave enough to state some awful shite Dreamer came out with during seminars... And there's his noncey pal Rob too. Thick idiot.

Rings of Europe have been known wrong-uns for a while, so none of it was a surprise. They tried to run a storyline about Speaking Out, booked Marty Scurll in 2024, and have a reputation for treating female wrestlers like shit - I remember someone saying to me a few years ago that you only need to look at the amount of women who only wrestled for them once to see that there's something going on there.

Never been able to stand this prick, used to think it was kind of an irrational/unjustified dislike but every single time I see or hear something he’s said I feel vindicated.

Because this is exactly what you put importance on when considering the credibility of accusations like this. How famous the victim/accuser is obviously determines whether they’re worth listening to or not. Need Arn Anderson to bitch slap his lips and eyebrows off his face again.

It's such a yank take to assume anyone who isn't loaded is only making a noise to cash in. Was a horrible part of plenty of responses to Janel Grant too.
