It's completely unhinged, to the point that I would honestly be concerned about the welfare of the person who made it. It's one of the problems of running a venue like the O2, where you're handing over things like security and checking tickets on the door to a third party. If it had been a smaller, standard show, that sign and the person's behaviour would have been clocked possibly before they even made it into the venue, and certainly would have been caught early during the show. lanky316 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Stupidly, at one point that sign was in a highlight thing that had been posted to social media. It was swiftly taken down at least when noticed but fucking hell the editor had a shocker with that one. There have been some reports about how the girl with the sign and someone she was with were awful throughout the day. Hurling abuse at people, the sign, throwing things in the ring. Amazing that the sign got in, and then nothing was done throughout the show. I do think at a regular EVE show that would have been dealt with well before she got into the venue and the fact the people looking out were O2 staff meant they got away with it but even if you're not a regular "wrestling show security" person I would have thought that was something that they'd realise doesn't fly. I hope the girl who posted that on Twitter is okay and hasn't been harassed off. Quote

I agree with Arch and @BomberPat on this. You have to be extremely careful before plastering someone’s face online, and the contents of that sign is a huge red flag for me. I appreciate that the intent of the post was good, but I don’t think it’s sensible to make this post without blurring the person’s face at the very least. Something about it seemed very off.
