I guess it faces no real commupance anyway so they don't have to hide it. Quote

Paid Members DEF Posted April 8 Paid Members Posted April 8 I don't think I've seen this here. Janel Grant's new Affidavit. Its basically her account from her perspective. It has some new details which are just as horrific as the previous document. Warning it's pretty horrific. https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.ctd.157647/gov.uscourts.ctd.157647.138.3.pdf These two snippets are vile. And Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted April 8 Paid Members Posted April 8 I don't know why, at this point, that I thought it wasn't possible for anything more disgusting or horrifying about McMahon to come out. Jesus wept. Quote
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted April 8 Paid Members Posted April 8 Agree, bomber. I hope this bastard dies in prison and the cunts who enabled him and continue to reference him on national TV see the painful death of their careers. Quote

Sadly, it's not a case where Vince is in jeopardy of going to prison, is it? I'm not massively familiar with American legal jargon but isn't it a civil case so the most Janel would get if Vince is found guilty is money? I bow to the expertise of those who know more about this than me though. Quote

I bow to the expertise of those who know more about this than me though. Vince's legal team tried to claim that the ongoing criminal investigation was dropped at the start of 2025, but Janel Grant's lawyers disputed that and claimed it was still ongoing. The US Department of Justice have not confirmed anything either way. The speculation at the time was that it's basically postponed/dead as of now because the feeling is Trump will just pardon Vince if he gets convicted of a federal crime. As far as the civil case goes, Grant's team seem to want to have their day in court, both to hold Vince and others accountable and to get a larger settlement than if it went to arbitration (providing a jury sides with them). It is unlikely to go to court, however, as both sides have a lot to lose, but you never know. I hope it does and I hope she wins big. Quote
The Gaffer Posted April 8 Posted April 8 At current trajectory, WWE is more likely to become a federalised entertainment wing of the U.S. administration than it is for Vince to see the inside of a jail cell. Quote
BarryOVega Posted April 8 Posted April 8 It’ll probably sound like I’m defending Lesnar which isn’t my intention obviously but did any of his messages mention all the horrendous stuff with dildos etc? I know he asked for a video of her pissing which is weird enough but most of it sounds like Vince told her Lesnar was going to do this and that, rather than direct from him, not the most important thing by any means and he was still obviously involved to some degree The stuff about ripping her open is disgusting enough but for Punk to be mentioning Vince but watering it down by just calling him a weird old man is just next level disgraceful, plus they always used to worry about people googling Chyna and others and what would come up in the search results, what the fuck is some kid gonna think if they google to see who the weird old man and they read all that minging shite? Quote
weevil Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Did she ever talk with Lesnar directly? or was it all just text messages from a number that Vince told her was Lesnar? Quote
Paid Members BomberPat Posted April 9 Paid Members Posted April 9 it's in the messages that Brock Lesnar sent her nude photos, and I'm sure before it got this far into litigation the respective legal teams would have been all over it if they hadn't been able to prove that it was Brock's number. On Barry's point, there is something there which I've suspected. There's a lot of texts about Vince claiming to have shown her photos off to random members of crew, camera operators, and general unnamed others, and part of me does wonder if that didn't actually happen and he was just telling her he'd done it as a powerplay and a humiliation thing. From the tone of the texts, it all seems like a weird power fantasy more than anything, and I'd wonder that, if he had been showing the photos to anyone and everyone, you'd think Grant's legal team would have been able to get testimony from people who have seen them. That's separate to the Brock Lesnar side of things, though, and Brock was definitely complicit in all of this, even if not everything Vince was saying would happen or he would do wasn't coming directly from Lesnar. There’s a line in there where she says Lesnar asked her why she’d been interested in him. She then says she didn’t know what to say as she hadn’t expressed interest in him. In other words, it’s reads like Lesnar had been told (by McMahon) that she wanted to do this with him, and that he thought it was consensual. His requests were grubby as was his behaviour, but it doesn’t sound like he did anything criminal or that he could be subjected to legal action for. I’ll caveat this with a reminder that he previously had been alleged to have exposed himself to a non-consenting Terri Runnels. Quote

I think that's why it's so important this goes to trial rather get hidden behind arbitration. There's nothing to say that Grant's level team can't get testimony from multiple sources but if it goes to arbitration nobody will know. I'm fully of the belief that Grant wants to do this as publicly as possible. Quote
