Calling a grandparent Papa is definitely a Scottish thing. My wife, who is Scottish, called both of her parents dad's Papa.

He once said to me “I started watching this show on Netflix last week. Never heard of it before but it’s quite funny. Not sure if you know of it but it’s called Only Fools and Horses. It’s pretty funny, you should check it out”. He also told us about how Peter Jackson’s 2005 movie, King Kong, was the first movie he ever saw in the cinema. He found it very scary as he was ONLY 5 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME! Hes also never lived in a world without broadband internet. Does he like the scene where Del Boy falls through the bar? Paid Members FLips Posted August 10, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted August 10, 2019 Kane’s May 19th gimmick was not only the day See No Evil came out, but also the day I finished senior school.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted August 10, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 10, 2019 That May 19th gimmick is stuck in my head so badly. I can't remember most of the members of my family's birthdays but I remember the date See No Evil was released.

Rey_Piste
The fact that Bladerunner is no longer a film set in the future, since it is set in November 2019. Given the choice of the present with Brexit, Johnson and Trump, I would prefer the dystopian version from the film. I want flying cars, replicants and interplanetary travel.
