In the Press Conference after Supercard of Honor he basically said he wanted to win everything. AEW World Title, ROH World Title, Owen Hart Cup. Anything and everything he didn't mind. It's giving him something to do while the Owen Hart cup has been slowly playing out, His position some way further down the roster so far has been main eventing a Dynamite and a Rampage. Because, at a guess, the aim is for ROH to be run as a separate promotion. The Discovery/Warner merger has definitely put AEW on the back burner while everything is finalized, but I think the aim was to get AEW on the streaming service and then get ROH a deal as well. Fans are popping big for it and it's got me finally invested in Danhausen. Roof is going to explode when HOOK finally saves Danhausen from a beatdown. Loved angry Eddie calling in to berate Jericho and Jericho burying his head in his hands afterwards. Laughed hard at Eddie talking about his "wife of 20 years"...he's not even married! Wasn’t his great promo against Mox built around how he’d never got married or had kids because he wanted to win a world title? 🤣 Shawn Spears is a good promo. Jungle Boy/Ricky Stark for the FTW title has real HHH/Rock for the IC title vibes about it, albeit on a smaller scale. They could both be big stars for AEW in the future. Seems a bit weird and AEW has usually been alright at continuity. I skip all the ROH stuff and just check out the endings if I think Joe's gonna show up post-match, which he already has on a few occasions. Up there with all the times Trent's mum has appeared.
