Dai
Yeah, the Maven videos are always a good watch. Probably the last truly interesting era of WWE for the backstage stuff and people. He keeps the videos brief and to the point too. In a somewhat ironic twist considering how their paths crossed at one point, Maven has twice as many YT subscribers as the Undertaker, and his vids seemingly always do more views too. Considering the careers both have had, thats quite a shocker.
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted December 29, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 29, 2023 It’s mad how for years a lot of fans wanted to hear the Undertaker ‘shoot’ out of character and talk about his career. Then he retired and started doing just that and it seemed like within a couple of months nobody ever wanted to hear him talk again. Y’know.
2Xtreme_lives
Samoa Joe - LL Cool J I love people's creativity on things, this guy has done great videos before and this really gives me TWC Ad Break vibes
Paid Members BigJag Posted January 3 Paid Members Share Posted January 3 I think the comparison with Demolition is unfair. LOD were Uber monsters. The Demos were more of a wrestling team.
Paid Members JLM Posted January 4 Paid Members Share Posted January 4  Thought this was very wholesome stuff and had no idea it had happened. The Acclaimed/Billy Gunn/Scottie 2 Hottie vs Daddy Magic/Cool Hand/Jake Haeger/The Gunns.

Mid-00's IWA-MS must have taken inspiration from them.

Chili
Sometimes the old WWF TNT show had a bit of gold and here's an example when Jake Roberts went on. It's basically he and Mean Gene cracking up each other with nob gags yet Jake still comes across like a killer. Adore the audience too, who are clearly all super marks and lovely to observe (look out for the Rosatti Sisters, who brought crowd signs to a WWF talk show, bless them). Â I'm pretty sure it was the last show, so they probably went out there and did whatever the fuck they wanted to without major fear of repercussion. Paid Members JNLister Posted January 13 Paid Members Share Posted January 13 The first episode of RollerGames, the Roller Derby revival of 1988. I always assumed the "Roller Derby is like pro wrestling" stuff was overblown but, no. It's just pro wrestling with different moves. Snitsky's back acne
Not great matches by any stretch of the imagination but I am posting these purely for the bizarre nature of Nicole Bass wrestling two great All Japan Womens wrestlers AND the freakshow appeal of the size difference between Bass and Chaparita Asari. Merzbow
I never knew this show was ever recorded, I'm not sure Gary ever stepped foot in WWF but they helped put on this show. Also never knew he was so close to the Anoa'i family. Â

Never worked the WWF, rarely worked the US at all - a one-shot with ECW, a couple of WCW dark matches, and I think that's about it - basically went from Stampede to Japan, and that was that.
