bigfoote 214
OK so not quite a week...but needs must. Bag is condensation free. On opening, all appears normal. They did not go soggy. Crispy as the day they were fried.  Experiment is a success, Brannigans can be frozen

Keith Houchen 17,787
I picked up a few multibags of beef and mustard a while back and haven’t seen any since.
Paid Members Egg Shen 2,234 Posted January 18 Paid Members Report Share Posted January 18 walked past the local Heron Foods this morning and my head damn near fell off seeing this: anyone sampled them? i went in store but they are still waiting on a delivery so i'll nip back down later in the week. Its cut off in the pic but the green and pink packets underneath are the returning Prawn Cocktail and Salt & Vinegar Quavers. Sensational snacks. Great day to be a crisp fan.

Moderators neil 2,088 Posted January 18 Moderators Report Share Posted January 18 I would hope those KFC crisps will taste more like the Colonels secret herbs and spices, but I imagine they'll just taste like roast chicken.

One of the food reviewers I look at on Instagram has tried both the regular and the Zinger flavours (the latter being in the Double Crunch range) and said they taste near enough exactly like KFC

Pork Pie 53
Bought a couple of big single packs of the KFC Max crisps from Londis yesterday. I'm guessing they're new but for whatever reason they were in the reduced to clear section down from £1.50 to £99p. I'll give them a try tomorrow
Paid Members BigJag 368 Posted January 25 Paid Members Report Share Posted January 25 I tried a pack the other day. They have a vague southern fried chicken flavour. I wouldn't say it's authentic KFC though.
Pork Pie 53
I was quite impressed with the standard KFC flavour. For me there was enough other flavours going on to make them different from standard roast chicken crisps. Naturally I ate the whole bag in one go. I'd happily get them again. Less impressed with the Zinger version. They're ok but pretty much just paprika with a little spice
