Paid Members Carbomb Posted September 23, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted September 23, 2020 I like the Cheeseburger-flavoured Walkers - they hit that "filth" spot. Brannigans were all awesome, although Roast Beef & Mustard's my favourite. 2020 continues to be dogshit. I swear this has got to be one massive karmic debt we're building up now - 2021's got to see the UK become a full socialist republic with Akala as PM. Ham and Mustard and Lamb and Mint were fairly easy to come by. Is there any brands that come close with that thick cut non ridged crisp? They still knocking about?  I know they aren't a crisp but I had some ghost chilli pork scratchings last night at my mates dog's birthday party and they burnt my face off.  https://www.lovepubsnacks.co.uk/the-ghost-extreme-chilli-crackling-2580-p.asp Edited September 23, 2020 by PowerButchi

Whenever I'm be coming back to the UK my Mum will always ask what she should go out and get for the house (bless), Brannigans were always on the list. She had said she couldn't always find them at Tesco's, I thought it was the old bird mugging me off, but not only does it seem like she was right but she'll always have this excuse now 😠

Not a big fan, but often in the £1 multipack section of Asda. McCoys did some for a while, but not seen that range recently. Mackie's is probably the closest that I have seen in shops recently.
Paid Members air_raid Posted September 24, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted September 24, 2020 Roysters are meant to come (or at least used to) in different flavours - urban myth or has anyone tasted anything other than the steak?
Harry Wiseau
about fifteen years ago I had a pack of the Southern Fried Chicken ones in a pub but i'd never seen them before or since. i sadly have nothing to add to this as it was so long ago i can't really remember how good they were. Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted September 24, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted September 24, 2020 I remember, but never had the chicken flavour. I am sure I remember the adverts that announced them as being raised the american way, and yet have never ever seen any other crisps, either side of the Atlantic with this gimmick. Probably because they are shit. I think they came out around the same time as the Looney Toon crisps which is why I never bothered with them again for years. Yeh, you used to be able to buy a 6 pack multipack, or a combo pack with the steak: not seen them in years though, they were pretty good though. It’s a smaller bag than it sounds as they’re a heavier snack than many.
