I don't watch much telly other than the footy/cricket/snooker and Gary Neville, Peter Crouch, Rob Key, Jimmy White etc don't really top me bird's list of fellas she fancies. She's had a thing for Redknapp since we were kids on the Kop.

Does she only watch Jimmy White when the snookers on? Because Selby and Robertson are good looking blokes.

Who's going to be the one to give Page his wake-up call while he's hanging around the midcard with the Dark Order and set him on the road to another match with Kenny? I could see Callis talk about him holding Kenny back, or maybe he manages to piss off the Bucks.

It absolutely needs to be Page's own realisation.

The way I see it, he continues to knock about with The Dark Order until Brodie Lee gets back. Lee snaps the Order back into shape, annoyed that they've been goofing around his absence. Maybe we see a couple of them either kicked out or leave as a result - Colt Cabana and John Silver going off to do their own thing, maybe - but for the most part it's Brodie Lee turning them back into a dangerous cult. Hangman wants no part of it, so has to fight his way through all of them to get to Brodie.

Maybe someone like the Young Bucks try and team with him against the Dark Order in a six-man, and one of them either ends up taking the fall or accidentally superkicking Hangman, something like that. Page realises he can't trust them, and gets all mopey and despondent again, only now he's got a big pay-per-view match coming up against Brodie Lee and he's not sure if he has the confidence to get the job done.

The match happens, Page wins, and the Young Bucks/The Elite try to celebrate with him, but he brushes them off and goes to the bar. At first, it seems like he's back to his old habits, but in reality, he's realised that he's better off on his own, rather than seeking acceptance from groups like The Dark Order or The Elite. The next episode of Dynamite, he either interrupts an Omega promo and marches right up to him to issue a challenge with his newfound confidence, or else they do something like the Casino Battle Royal or that ladder match thing where he can be the surprise final entrant and just do a babyface sprint through the whole thing to win it and get a title shot.

The crux of the story has to be Page realising that he needs to go it alone, if it relies on someone else giving him that confidence rather than him finding it within itself, it's a massive misstep.

Counter offer:

Reynolds and Silver win over Page over the next few weeks, Silver with his goofy antics and Reynolds because him and Page in the tag corner look fucking great together. Page doesn't officially join the DO, but they're all mates.

Brodie returns, and he's PISSED at what the DO have become. Uno begs him for forgiveness, but Brodie's having none of it - the frat-boy confidence shit dies now. He whips them all into line, with them all falling in one by one. Silver gets the brunt of it, with Brodie beating the snot out of him like he was doing before the Collar match. Page sees Reynolds wants to help but can't, then stands up to Brodie. But Brodie reels on him, berating him, bringing up all the failures that SHOULD be behind him, letting everyone down, letting himself down, comparing him to Colt, falling in with the DO who Brodie himself calls losers, and he breaks him. Page falls in line too.

For a week or two at least.

Brodie continues his assault over the next few weeks, ruthlessly cutting down any semblance of the old DO as soon as it appears. He focuses on Reynolds, who clearly still wants to save Silver from Lee's repeated physical abuse. Eventually, Brodie gives Reynolds an ultimatum - attack Silver or pay the price. Reynolds hesitates, apologises to his friend, but when he goes to strike him, Page grabs his hand. He steps in front of Lee so Reynolds can tend to Silver, and it's on. Page has had all he can stands, he can't stands no more.

Page vs Brodie at the big show, with the soul of the DO on the line.

A war of lariats. Page wins.

At the end, the DO face him while he stands by the fallen body of Lee. He's battered and bruised, but they're at a loss. He limps toward them and shakes each of their hands, getting them to hold their heads high and look him in the eyes. Uno offers him DO gear, but Page smiles and shakes his head, and walks off.

Later on, he passes the Bucks in the hallway. They try to congratulate him. He keeps on walking. "Piss off. Where's Kenny?"

I could see Page going like Austin on Raw before Invasion ppv when hes in the bar all night drinking and shooting pool with Raw on the background.

Building all night til he gets frustrated and drunk enough to break a pool cue, head to the arena and destroy everyone (and leave)

That's kinda thing i hope it is, pop was and should be insane

I used to consider on here a collection of sensible and intelligent wrestling minds, but that no one has chosen Sue as the one to talk him into doing the right thing puts all my beliefs about here to bed.

This may go down like a led balloon but I want a Rhodes involved in Hangman becoming the man, just maybe the third most important Rhodes.

I'd love to see it, DO trying to recruit both Page and Dustin at the moment is perfect, because it gives them the tie in they've both had to each other but builds on it. Hangman felt on the outside of the Elite, Dustin is, he's Cody's brother but he's always been Team Nightmare not The Elite.

Maybe as Hangman keeps spending time with DO, Dustin keeps rejecting them, but it could tie into the whole DO as a cult as they try and get Page to recruit Dustin because they've fought together. It could be Dustin's years of experience in Page's ears, he never got to be the main event star people saw he could be, instead he joked around, did some crazy stuff and settled for what he had. He doesn't want Page to do the same.

If it leads to Brodie's return and destroying Dustin as well as wanting the DO to go back to being how they were through his brutality, that allows Page to stand up for people who really did want to be his friend and ally, but also for someone who's words realised he could be more, almost like avenging a mentor if not like one.

For me it would all lead to Page adopting the Natural name from Dustin. "They once said I was a natural, I know you are" because as forward thinking and smart as Khan and co are, trying to promote someone nationally and internationally as your ace and on talk shows and whatever (which Page I feel could do amazing with) calling him the Hangman all tying back to him carrying that noose around isn't going to win over any sponsors.

Hangman freeing the Dark Order from the brutal Brodie Lee would be a great feud for a few months. The idea that, without Brodie Lee, the Dark Order has become this loveable, wholesome supportive group is just so much fun. Here's what I'd like to see:

Brodie comes back, furious. Between Dark and Adrenaline over a couple of weeks, he hands out punishment beatings (in handicap and then one-on-one matches) to the entire Dark Order, to put them back in line. Hangman comes to the rescue, and challenges Brodie Lee - if Lee wins, Hangman has to join the Dark Order under Brodie Lee. If Hangman wins, Lee has to quit the Dark Order.

Hangman wins, and the Dark Order come out to support their new leader - but Hangman hands the leadership over to Evil Uno instead. Page rides off into the sunset to keep building towards the inevitable Omega feud and the Dark Order becomes the face, comedy, wholesome cult that everyone wants them to be.
