I've just done it with the dishwasher. Opened it mid-cycle to stick another glass in - nearly melted my face off.

I have one of those Samsung washing machines where you can add something after it starts, but it drains all the water out of the drum for you to add it - taking with it any detergent that has been added I'm presuming so it's absolutely bloody pointless

All these years after being laughed at for my oversight when nominating @wandshogun09 during UKFF Award season, every time I see a Mitsubishi I immediately think of 'WandaShogun' from 'the wrestling forum.' 

And I still think WandaShogun is a better username.
