Imagine having to sit through that after having sat through a Smackdown taping.

That's a good point for us. We still need to do more on the attacking front, but getting a draw against a country like England,  will do us the world of good and confidence to go further in the competition.

Djed Spence refusing to shake Thomas Parteys hand was the highlight of the game and that says it all.

Came in to suggest Spurs give him the armband after that one.

When they are playing 10 men at the back, what’s the point wasting so much energy trying to aimlessly cross it into the box from the wings?
Felt like we had a bit more threat with Saka/Rashford/Rogers on the pitch at least

Actually kind of comforting wasn't it? That familiar sting of just knowing we were never gonna score against a well drilled low block.

I'm not too concerned to be honest. But I really hope he drops Gordon now. He wasn't at it at all. Madueke on the left looked much better.

I've had a lot of fun on various right-wing Facebook groups pointing out the one Muslim player on the team obviously cares more about protecting women than all the others.

The rest was shite.

At least England know they only have to turn up against Panama and they'll go through. Also looks like they've managed to avoid Portugal now.

How many goals did they miss out on because Ronaldo was chasing a hat trick?

Hopefully Brazil rest players and Scotland play the way Ghana did last night to come away with a point and make the knockouts as well, although with a match against Germany on the horizon is that really all it's cracked up to be?

It's Panama, fortunately enough. I wouldn't fancy us to get a result against Paraguay based on last night's performance.

We must’ve been watching a different Madueke. I thought he was dreadful last night.

Paddy Power's description this morning made me chuckle.

"Noni Madueke. Believable player. Stoppable on his day. One of the players I have ever seen. Strikes confidence into defenders."
