Briefcase Posted May 20 Posted May 20 I would imagine Southampton fans would be fuming as well, following the team up and down the country, fair enough if you lose on sporting merit but losing out like this must leave them feeling robbed (by the clubs wrongdoings, not the decision). Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted May 20 Paid Members Posted May 20 I think the only solution here in this whole sorry mess is to strip Arsenal of the title. Quote
Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted May 20 Paid Members Posted May 20 My nephew wants an England jersey for the World Cup. I told him I'd get him one but bollocks am I paying the prices for the official shirt. Where's the best place for me to get a half-decent 'fake' jersey? @SuperBacon? Thanks in advance all. Quote

DHGate for sure, but I don't really use it (not for snobbish reasons just haven't been interested in a shirt for a long time) I'll ask PunkStep, after I've unblocked him for chatting about Arsenal. You know what, why don't they just make Hull, Boro and Southampton a Triple Threat match, thinking about it? Quote
Rossman Posted May 20 Posted May 20 If Aston Villa win the Europa League tonight. Unai Emery has won the Europa League with 3 teams with Villa in their name. Sevilla, Villarreal & Aston Villa. Stick that in your pub quiz. Quote

westlondonmist Posted May 20 Posted May 20 So Southampton have admitted to doing it on three occasions? Can understand why Wrexham are now fucked off. An absolute fucking mess isn't it? I'm surprised at people saying it's harsh though. I think they've essentially given a 3-0 win to Middlesbrough and 4 point deduction based on the other 2 matches. Had they been caught earlier then it's a point deduction this season. Never gonna replay the playoffs though. You have the Rugby League Challenge Cup final and Women's cup final at Wembley next weekend and a concert the following weekend. Quote

There are leagues in London and if it wasn’t for Covid, the World Cup would’ve been held in London too. Millwall vs West Ham vs Chelsea is the dream. Quote

Paid Members BomberPat Posted May 20 Paid Members Posted May 20 What is the logic behind Saturday's game changing from a 16.30 start if it had been Southampton (and reverting to that if Southampton win their appeal), but 15.30 now that it's Middlesbrough? Quote

I'd imagine it's something to do with the tickets already distributed for the Hull/Saints game. No logic behind my thinking as always Quote
thevestofdeanambrose Posted May 20 Posted May 20 I went to the Emirates at full time last night, just a night I will never forget. The streets were more alive than I have ever seen them. I was 19 when the the invincibles made history and I did not think for one minute I would be waiting 22 years for another league title. A long wait but one that has finally been worth it. Arteta coming in, building us back up from the position we were in, going from the banter team to the bottlers to winning the league. I am made up. I'm not a fan of social media but seeing all the videos from fans and players and players with the fans. The happiness and joy, what a time to be a fan. Roll on the Champions League final. Win or lose, a season I will never forget! RED ARMY Quote

I am made up. The Spurs 3-0 Arsenal result in May 2022 is the sliding doors moment for both clubs probably for the next 10/15 years. One club knuckled down, had patience, had faith, took the result as a wake up call, built a squad with the right profile, and are now reaping the rewards of that patience of the last 6 years. The other club starts Palhinha and Kolo Muani. Quote
Paid Members air_raid Posted May 20 Paid Members Posted May 20 Hope Villa win the Europa final tonight. Hope Palace win the Conference final next week. The Champions League final is also happening soon. Quote
