So RIP Joe Bugner, but to be honest that's not what my mum just said when I just told her. Her exact words were "Not winning a fucking world title now is he"

Next time you see her you can mention that she needs to pay up, as Bugner did win the WBF Heavyweight Championship in 1998, the oldest person to ever do so. 
It might not a massively recognised belt these days (considered “minor”) and is probably on par with winning the 1PW World title, but a World Champion he was

The WBF is not and never has been a  recognised world title. When Usyk won the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship there was no asterisk next to it saying "Not really he's not WBF Champion"

We've lost so many great character actors lately and here's another one. What a varied and great career he had. Highly recommend Clearcut, which I think was his best performance and had him in a rare lead role, too.

Damn. He's been in a bunch of stuff I've watched relatively recently, including Thunderheart and Powwow Highway. I remember him popping up in some TV shows like Northern Exposure and Goliath, too. Just a real solid, reliable working actor. I like the sound of Clearcut and will add it to the list.

Rick Davies from Supertramp has died aged 81. I do like a bit of Supertramp. A band I'd heard of as a kid but properly got in to in my mid-twenties and I still think they're massively underrated. He had a cracking voice on him but was a fantastic piano player. This is a belting performance.

I was there. My mate was a Hatton obsessive and managed to get two tickets. I've never experienced anything like it. 

That couple of years of that weight division were unbelievable.
