Seems like even the more reliably sane Arsenal fans have lost the plot over this Havertz handball tonight. Apart from 90% of the replays showing it to be a clear and definite handball, the fact that the players basically stopped celebrating once they’d all had a word with him was all you needed to know. Embarrassing. How about not leaving Watkins unmarked in the 6 yard box? Might be conducive to defending a lead, who knows.

While I concede we've been unlucky with the fine margins of stuff and some refereeing decisions this year, the way some of our fans have reacted, primarily online, is mental and this is the latest one.

The reality is, we've been hampered by injuries and naivety regarding the need for a striker and it's cost us, as expected.

A draw against a half decent Villa side in January shouldn't be a death knell for a title chase unless a lot of other stuff has gone wrong before that.Title's been gone for months.

In a mad set of circumstances, I actually believe the Champions League is our best bet this year. Less about week-to-week consistency and more about playing on the day, which we've shown we can do. Not saying we'll go far in it, but on paper it's the most fruitful looking avenue at this stage.

Great to see live Endsleigh League football on ITV this lunchtime.

Anyone spotted Gabriel Clarke and Jim Rosenthal yet?

It’s so annoying looking up the table at teams we’ve thrashed and down the table at teams that have beaten us.

You can have Nketiah back if you want? I’m off work tomorrow and happy to drive him over.

I wouldn't expect someone who avoids watching England internationals to have noticed his massive promotion since the Endsleigh/Nationwide days. He went to my old school once. Must've learned journalism skills elsewhere though.

Along the lines of those "Men can just sit around naming 90s footballers" memes, I notice one of the USA's goalscorers last night was called Patrick Agyemang.

Big Ange must be getting sacked in the morning surely?

Well, Levy probably won't sack himself :(

I think what would be best for everyone is Spurs stick with Ange and then win the League Cup but still get relegated. SuperBacon can delete the spreadsheet before Harry Kane adds his name to it and everyone else gets to laugh at Spurs.

I'd be so happy with this.
