Football clubs and transfer dealings I can understand. But fans? Fuck off! Quote

All that content is free and easily accessible, through platforms that younger generations spend all their time on, like Twitter and YouTube. Actually watching football, especially live, is quite the opposite. Quote
Paid Members air_raid Posted December 24, 2024 Paid Members Posted December 24, 2024 Last Spurs whine ; on form, we should get humped by Forest. If the margin is 3 or more, Ange will get sacked, I believe. That said, knowing my mob they might win. Quote
Mr_Danger Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 (edited) Forest should be able to pick them off on the counter attack but you still feel like Spurs could be 3-0 up at any point. Bookies have Forest as favourites so that plays in to Spurs favour. Then there’s the Nuno factor. Do Forest have any god awful former Spurs players that can turn it on for the day? Too tough to call. Paid Members Wretch Posted December 24, 2024 Paid Members Posted December 24, 2024 Brennan Johnson hat-trick oncoming then. Can’t see us getting anything out of this. Quote
Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted December 24, 2024 Paid Members Posted December 24, 2024 It's Tottenham, show some disrespect. I never set MOTD to record until after the three points are in the bag, because I'm not a jinxing noob. I set it twice (different BBC regions) before our last game out of principle, and never wavered even at 2-0 down. They couldn't defend Fort Knox from an Ander Herrera attack rn. Quote

They do not I'm afraid. They did have Serge Aurier for a bit, but he sodded off to go and get himself on the spreadsheet. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted December 26, 2024 Members Posted December 26, 2024 Just in case like me the 300 books and documentaries about him you've read and watched aren't enough, there is a new two part documentary on the greatest manager of all time, Sir Alex. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/m0026jq0/sir-alex Quote

My dad's hard of hearing, and the BBC have an irritating tendency to not provide subtitles for quite a few of their uploads. For some reason, when they're recorded off scheduled TV, you can get them. My dad speaks English almost natively, but he doesn't hear like a native, so various accents like Glaswegian are a real struggle for him; it would be critical in a programme like this, where he's particularly interested in Ferguson's early years. Paid Members Wretch Posted December 26, 2024 Paid Members Posted December 26, 2024 Nuno’s European reds ? Given the shite we’ve been subjected to in recent years, I’m fully expecting this season to be a blip and for us to be battling relegation again next season. Pessimistic maybe, but you would be too following Forest. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted December 26, 2024 Members Posted December 26, 2024 So next game Spurs will have a reserve keeper, a left back who can't defend, a right back who can't defend and two central midfielders as centre backs. Great. Wolves, enjoy the much needed win. A game so bad I turned it off half way through to do karaoke with the kids. Amazing season for Forest, fair play. Quote
