I had thought Evans appeared on TV, but it seems he only did the character regularly on radio - otherwise, his screen outings appear to have been films. So yeh, best to ignore that.

You are right Danny La Rue did not have his own show.

It's quite touching that George Logan (Hinge) refused to perform after the death of Patrick Fyffe (Bracket) back in 2002.

I just about remember the BBC2 show Dear Ladies. Too young to get all the jokes mind you.

Interesting to see that he died two weeks ago, he’s already been buried and they’re only just announcing it now. I guess it’s to stop people protesting his funeral and the like.
