One of the very very very few comics that could be so funny that it went beyond laughter to a point that I would have to bite my hand to stop from laughing because I knew if I laughed that all control would be gone and the torrent of laughter would be so uncontrollable that I would wet myself.

My gran used to love Dame Edna, and had one of her books that I remember reading when I was far too young to understand any of the jokes in it. Wasn't there an "Audience With" where he did some stuff as himself, and a segment or two as Dame Edna and Sir Les Patterson.
