Sciatica. Fucking hell if you want an ailment that makes you feel like a broken down old man (which I am). This is the one.

Standing up hurts, sitting down hurts, walking anywhere hurts, going up and down stairs feels like hell on earth. Doctors advice, just don't move around much then and hopefully it gets better soon.

It also feels like someone has booted me in my backside constantly. So it literally feels like you have been kicked in the arse by something.

I do now have the week off work but it's not going to be a fun one.

It is the shits. Due to pregnancy, I now have a permanently misaligned Coccyx which gives me regular sciatica. Once you are able, exercise massively helps to keep it at bay so err get off your arse as soon as you can

I've started getting it too on my right side. It mostly effects me when I'm driving, so can only manage about an hour and a half before I have to stop and have a stretch, and then roughly every hour after that.
I am not looking forward to driving to Cornwall in October.

One of the dogs has come to stay for a few nights and in protest, my cat has done a massive piss in the middle of my bed to mark her territory.

Soaked all the way through to the mattress, discovered just before bed. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

My friend adopted a Romanian rescue dog. He was living with and caring for his Dad at the time and for the first few months the dog would piss on his old man's bed any time it could. He was constantly washing the bedding and airing the mattress in the garden. Only for the dog to do it again before bedtime any number of times. The only way it stopped was when he started walking the dog miles and miles a day. He does 20,000-30,000 steps a day just on dog walks, starting at about 5am when the fucker wakes up. Fortunately he's retired.

His Dad passed away and the dog doesn't like pissing on anyone elses mattress so that's a silver lining!

“I hate shopping in TK Maxx, it’s always such a mess in there”

Yeah, cos the staff made the mess didn’t they

Triggers for me being a retail worker as this is my everyday, just today in fact while tidying a table of knitwear, I dug out from the pile 3 pyjama sets, two dress tops, 3 bobble hats and a pair of high heels buried because customers are dicks and think we’re all too thick to notice their laziness

I feel bad for anyone dealing with this in massive clothing stores. Seems to be a non stop war. I even feel bad when I'm struggling to know my size so take two of the same item to try on then have to give back loads to the poor changing room person. Dumping like this is as bad as a toilet in a rough pub which gets arse bombed by drug addicts

Was on a top up course last week for my security licence. Had this annoying bloke tell us on break that Andrew Tate will be the next prime minister after Farage. And he will be the one to finally fix the country. He then went on a rant about men being men. His point of reference on real men - Tommy Shelby from Peaky Blinders. Specifically the first two series. I didn’t engage. Not worth it.
