It's horrible washing your hair and seeing great handfuls of it coming out, not to mention constantly cleaning it up off the floor/carpet as you shed it. deathrey Posted July 11, 2025 Posted July 11, 2025 There is an old lady in our town and her gimmick is wearing full Victorian era dresses complete with a big bustle, always in black and literally every day no matter the weather. We see her in the mornings at the bus stop when we drop the kids off at nursery. No idea where she gets it all from or how she manages to wear it when the weather is like this but she fully lives the gimmick and is never out without it Quote

Chico Torres Posted July 11, 2025 Posted July 11, 2025 As I get older I pay attention to the trainers that the old boys are wearing, they no longer give a toss about fashion and go for comfort instead which I fully appreciate which is why I walk around in a max cushioned pair of Hoka Bondis these days. Thanks to the old boys for the inspiration. I've started to wear running shoes as casual trainers but it's not just the cushioning, it's the silly colours they come in. As I've got older (41 in a few months) I've enjoyed wearing more colourful clothes but especially trainers and socks. You've got to rock your socks and roll your soles. Quote

All of my other shoes I bought because I like the look of them and I was ruining both my body and the shoes walking for miles and miles in them.
