He was in some cracking films. Missed this news actually. His last film was a great little sci-fi horror called The Dark Side of the Moon, which is worth a look if you can find it anywhere. Oh, and there was Blade Runner too. On James Caan, yep, a true great. Might have to bust out Thief tonight, his best performance.

Merzbow Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Lenny Von Dohlen, maybe best known as Harold in Twin Peaks but weirdly ended up in an episode of Red Dwarf around the same time has passed away at 63.

Merzbow Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Wild, not something you would think could happen today. I was just listening to some heavily anti-Shinzo Abe music too..
Guest Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 That's a shame. If he'd survived I wanted to see whether he'd nominate the shooter for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted July 8, 2022 Moderators Posted July 8, 2022 That's wild. I don't know much about him and his legacy at all. I know he was PM for quite a while so assumed he had reasonable amount of popularity and support. If anyone has got a link to a decent obit please share.

Merzbow Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Just saw the homemade guns made by the killer.. one was some nine barreled shotgun right out of a video game. Mental.
DavidB6937 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 One of my favourite TV roles. And a real nice guy. Such a shame.

I think I know him more from Electric dreams as I saw that prior to Red Dwarf V or Twin Peaks. He was also in Home Alone 3.
