My Dad died on Friday. Ben Spiller was a pretty great guy. I can't claim he's an actual celebrity but it's possible if you are from the Reading area you'd know him. He won the pride of Reading award i

Not what I've heard!

I'll not actively court it, because I fear he'll haunt me (and it's as much as I deserve), but I have already seen a bump in sales. The sole thing that allowed me to financially survive the first

Mira Furlan from Babylon 5 and Lost has died. Was a fan of B5 when I was a teenager and her performance as DeLenn was actually pretty good on reflection. I think I'd checked out of Lost by the time she showed up on that though.

I didn't recognise the name but just Googled, and she was Danielle Rousseau on Lost. She was fantastic as that character, underused but a really memorable performance.

Ah, shame. 65's no age these days, and I loved Delenn. I never saw Lost, so didn't really see her in much else, but as Delenn she was good at conveying comedy (the hair scene), as well as the various tragic bits.

And she was one of my earlier Napster porn downloads in my late teens when I found out she'd had a couple of nude scenes on Yugo TV. Gorgeous woman. </thunderplex>

RIP Mira Furlan.

Larry King has gone, obviously not being one of those American types I never actually saw his show but he was in countless films and TV shows over a long period of time (almost exclusively as himself) that he was one of those people that everyone just seemed to know who he was. Gone to haunt the Ghostbusters

We got CNN over here. We would get his show.

He was a great interviewer. There was a reason he had such a long career, because he was damn good at it. I will watch this tonight in tribute

Completely agree and told her as much when I met her at a convention. That she did great with a fascinating character and I really wanted more. She seemed to appreciate that.

You bastards are killing me today!  Not laughed like this in ages.

If you actually die, I’ll crack one off in your honour. In fact we all should.
