Paid Members RedTwoster Posted October 21, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 21, 2025 A solid Raw, and one that I hope sets the path to Bron Breakker being Cena’s final opponent. Breakker decimating Cena in his final bout has more upside to it than Gunther either doing the same, or losing to him. Paul Heyman feels a bit long in the tooth at this stage. He needs an extended break, or a stint at the announce desk or something. As a character, he feels very unwelcome. I also hope Becky Lynch remains heel in spite of her interaction with Heyman. She was one of the few bright points of the Rollins act, and this heel turn had been working out quite well. I can’t say that Punk/Uso inspires me in any way, shape or form as a title match, but I suspect whoever wins the belt will be nothing more than a transitional champion anyway. All roads, I’d have to assume, lead to Bron Breakker unseating them in short order. All in all, WWE seems to be improving after the creative slump that was the majority of 2025. They’re still a very unlovable company, but at least their programming is better than it was. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted October 21, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 21, 2025 (edited) Yeah, another episode of WWE TV continuing this quiet renaissance. They’re on a solid little run these last few weeks, with some good stuff on the horizon, too. I’d never wish injury on someone, but it’s crazy how the show instantly became fresh and exciting with Seth on the sidelines. Worse still, I feel like we’ve been here at least once before. Show is built around Seth Rollins, it’s shit, because he’s shit, they refuse to pivot, and it’s only once he gets injured that they change direction for the better. In fact, this might even be the third time! Trust Paul Heyman to nearly ruin it though. Smug prick can’t help himself. He’s the worst. ”I also watch Unreal, I understand, we’re the bad guys, we’re the villains, we’re the heels, it’s easy to point at us and go, “boo,” but what did we do to deserve that?” Bore off. Paul Heyman is the definition of fuck off heat in 2025. Nowhere near as clever as he thinks he is. Otherwise, a good show. Bron looked the absolute business holding the belt, Dirty Dom rules, and the idea of CM Punk as Champion, given the responsibility to carry the show and get some of these lads over to a main event level? Really exciting stuff.* *They wouldn’t give it to Jey Uso, would they? They wouldn’t truly believe the best direction is another Bloodline Civil War, over the World Title? Ah, shit. It’s one thing to advertise your behind the scenes documentary - it’s quite another to specifically cite it during a promo. Wanky shoot bollocks. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted October 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 27, 2025 Regardless of their current creative output, WWE will always be the king of the, “GABBO IS COMING,” vignettes. And I’ll always prove to be a complete mug, getting excited about them. They posted a couple of these videos over the weekend of a MYSTERIOUS FIGURE with a MYSTERIOUSLY unfashionable jeans and shoes combo, doing some MYSTERIOUS walking. Definitely looks like Chris Jericho casually strolling into Wetherspoons the moment doors open. Eyes on the prize. Straight to the fruit machine. Could be Shawn Michaels’ chin. Quote

The King of Old School Posted October 27, 2025 Author Posted October 27, 2025 I reckon it's Gunther. Coming back ready to retire Cena. Quote
Paid Members Callum1993 Posted October 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 27, 2025 The Jeans suggest it’s Lesnar. There’s been 4 different Vignettes with 4 different people by the looks. I’d suggest it’s a bit of a repacking of the Vision with Lesnar at the helm with Heyman, Bron and Bronson. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted October 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 27, 2025 Helmsley’s Razor dictates that the most likely scenario will always be the laziest, scummiest, most boring scenario possible. Accordingly, I’m expecting a re-branded Vision Wolfpack consisting of Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, Bronson (x2) and Austin Theory. I’m still convinced all roads lead to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns doing that rubbish, “Look at us!” face-off that John Cena and Randy Orton used to always do to less and less of a reaction. Plus, nothing would top off CM Punk’s year of humiliation more than working with Brock Lesnar. Funniest scenario would be Andrade. He just carries on wrestling in WWE like nothing ever happened. Just took a quick Day Trip to AEW in order to chin Kenny Omega. Back in time for breakfast. Quote
Paid Members BomberPat Posted October 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 27, 2025 thanks for that, I just had the clearest possible vision of Andrade showing up and Corey Graves smugly calling him "the most talked about man in professional wrestling", followed by a press conference with Paul Levesque telling everyone to "trust the process", that it was all planned out from the beginning, then proceeding to not book him for three months. TheScarlettChad Posted October 27, 2025 Posted October 27, 2025 Mad people thought it was Jericho. Since when did he wear cowboy boots and bootcut jeans? Quote

Paid Members LaGoosh Posted October 28, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 28, 2025 For someone who mostly looked pretty good and genuinely cool the vast majority of his career...the absolute state of CM Punk on Raw. The Vince McMahon hair do, the God awful white hoodie, jogging bottoms and high white socks. What a berk. Between him and Jey Uso it looked like your least favourite uncles in fancy dress as two 12 year olds. Quote
