Some of these chippies are awful cheap compared to Glasgow. Haddock supper up here is minimum 6 quid and most near me are charging that for one piece of fish rather than two, which was the previous default portion.

Saw a chippy last week charging 3 quid for 3 fritters/scallops or whether they're called to you guys. Well over the top.

Drove through Matlock Bath, it's a seaside town that isn't near the sea.  So had to have a chippy tea.  Sausage and chips for me, Roe and chips for the lady, curry sauce for both of us.
