Wrapped in paper has to be the only way for a chip shop takeaway. Polystyrene boxes are a definite no no. They cause an unecessary sogginess. Some places even have a pizza box style packaging. How do they compare to the proper way?

Here's almost all of Wright's from Manchester's city centre. Possibly the best chippy in Manchester right now but always packed now!

A fishcake but with cheese and onion with the potato instead of fish. The vegatarian option, fried in the same fat as the sausages and burgers.

Wright’s isn’t as expensive as I thought it would be bearing in mind it’s location.

The chipcone has to go national.  Do they butter the inside?  Please let that be yes.

That fruit sounds great. Not vegetarian, so not really bothered about the oil-change - cheese and onion's a classic combo. Sort of a fried colcannon or champ cake, I guess.
