BrodyGraham
Go easy on Bea, she's really got the potential to drop that whole division on it's head. Â
theringmaster
So 13 months after SO wwe uk decide to hire somebody who is known the world over as a locker room bully. Â This is going to go well isn't it? Â
Syl
Yikes, that promo is bad. Pre-taped and edited, and that's the best they can come up with? Shocking. As someone else said, she comes across as someone (badly) pretending to be a heel. All I've seen of NXT UK is this promo and a flippy floppy match (not sure who the wrestlers were)- I don't think I'll watch any more.
Paid Members Nick James Posted August 19, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted August 19, 2021 So this has happened. What a strange choice of sponsorship (Both NXT UK and the Football Club). Fancy putting Eddie Dennis next to a footballer who A) Looks completely disinterested and B) Towers over him. The other pictures as hilarious. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted August 19, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted August 19, 2021 ok... i do like how the guy who wrestled in a 'who's the dominant monster in NXT UK' storyline is smaller than Enfield Town's center half though.

Chili
Which one of them doubles up on the afternoon show as the wrestling red ranger?
TildeGuy~!
Enfield Town is my local club and I go to most home games so even though the kit is a bit shit it’s still given me a reason to buy and wear when I go to Donkey Lane
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted August 19, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted August 19, 2021 PWInsider have a clickbait headline suggesting NXT:UK have partnered with a PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB. Or maybe they've just missed off "Rymans"
Marc Ambush Solo
How tall is that guy next to Sam Gradwell and the one in both pictures with the jersey on? Sam ain't a small guy himself...

If you're gonna put your wrestlers next to athletes for mainstream crossover I really don't think the immediate takeaway from it should be "if the wrestlers fought the footballers I reckon the footballers would win pretty easily". The state of these pricks.
theringmaster
Just so utterly cringe. What's the point? To try and get another 6 viewers so the grand total is 26 viewers per week? Â The worst part is this kind of shows WWE are not planning on shutting it down for at least another 9 months, I'm genuinely fascinated at the ticket sales when it returns to live audiences, they were sheeting off seats before all the SO stuff. WyattSheepMask
That second picture- have they just stapled the logo to his jersey?

It probably is temporary, it's far too big for the FA rules on sponsors.
