I unlocked SOR 1 Axel and he is ridiculous. The lack of special moves is countered by the sheer speed and power he attacks with. It feels like you can interrupt any enemy attack as it starts and then just batter the shit out of them.

The hit detection in this game is so satisfying.

That looks superb. I'd only recently been playing THPS2 on an emulator and it's still just as much fun to play now as it was back then - but thinking about how some of those levels will look in 4k is getting me all excited in my undergarments.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I wish it 3 was included, too. That's your proper original era of classic Tony Hawk games, then, before they lost that beautiful 10 goals in a compact level feeling. 3's got the best tunes, too. It's got the wash your ay-ussss rap and CKY.

All together now: Dunna dun dun, dunna dunna dunna dunna, dun dun dunna dun, dun dun, dunah.

That's the boy. Still, what a gift horse though. The first two soundtracks are incredible, too, mind you. Tony Hawk transfer gapped across many a boundary in our school. Heads who'd normally not entertain anything outside a Gatecrasher compilation giving their blessing to bands like Rage Against The Machine, Papa Roach etc just from being on Tony Hawk.

Skateboarding as a whole, as big as it got at the time, was still very much the games first the actual sport second, which is crazy.

@scratchdj I enjoyed the first Crackdown game. Set in an open-world city where you control an enhanced agent, so can jump over buildings/throw cars depending on which attributes you want to level up. It's a bit aimless like some open-world games can be - I don't think I ever completed it because I just never felt the need too - but it's good fun.

I'd recommend the first Crackdown as well. Maybe my favourite 360 exclusive. It's like a sort of hybrid of GTA, a platformer and Streets of Rage. Nothing to it but leaping around the place battering cheesy baddies, holding off waves and collecting those agility orbs.

Seriously, it's worth it just to spiderman around the place getting every orb you can.

I'd recommend the first two Dead Rising games, too. I personally like 2 the best. The weapon modifications opened up the combat a lot more and casinos are cooler than shopping malls.

Saints Row 2.

Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning

The SoulCalibur 2 HD remake.

Sonic Generstions isn't too bad, but there's a really good Sega Megadrive collection on 360. The ports on it are better than the ones on the next gen Megadrive compilations as well.
