DavidB6937 Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 Kat Dennings is married to PARTY HARD PARTY HARD Andrew WK. Not sure how that got past me. Probably just something I've randomly forgotten. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted November 5, 2025 Members Posted November 5, 2025 Jack Nicklaus was the first living non-Royal to appear on a British note, a Scottish fiver in 2005. That was courtesy of the superb Paul Sinha pub quiz on Radio 4. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0016hfn Quote

Rossman Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 Matthew Broderick killed two people, by driving on the wrong side of the road in Northern Ireland and crashing head on into them. He got let off from death by dangerous driving and got the lesser charge of careless driving and fined £100 Quote
davertfnewman Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 And Jennifer Grey was his passenger and got a fucked up neck for life from it. Quote
Harry Wiseau Posted November 6, 2025 Posted November 6, 2025 Some companies produce electrical appliances such as ovens and fridges that have a Sabbath mode which allows people to use them without breaking the laws of Halakha. Sadly I don't think they have yet to come up with a way of adding Sabbath mode to an Iron (Ma!) Quote
deathrey Posted November 6, 2025 Posted November 6, 2025 Wow, that's pretty cool. I wonder how it works... Off I go to Google Quote
cobra_gordo Posted November 6, 2025 Posted November 6, 2025 That the Crosby, Stills and Nash logo was designed by Phil Hartman. Had no idea that he had a pre-comedy career where he's believed to have designed over 40 album covers, some examples which can be found here. Quote

Much like how I learned to remember the spelling of (Larry) Zbyszko of all people. Quote

Raging at that two star review. Purely anecdotally, but based on some women I know, they tend to get more 1-star ratings than men on these. Not because of behaviour (based on the people I know, and certainly not from my partner who would genuinely struggle to be rude to anyone), but more likely because they haven't engaged enough with the driver.
